Being a trained Gunsmith, rule #1 is before you can fix any thing, you need to know exactly how it was designed to work and why it failed. That's why I have tried to explain this repair to the extent that you need not piece together bits of info from a variety of sources as I had to to learn...
I did a novel rear shock install with my coil spring conversion. I wanted the ability to raise the rear a bit if need be or like some, might want to hall some weight. The fix is get a pair of Monroe MA815 Max air shocks with that air line kit that comes with them. The only thing you will use off...
I'm not going to count CFM's or any flow charts or what have you. My goal for my 97 base is to simply get maybe a little over 300hp under the hood . I'll lean on three things, a latter to be bought 2.5" SS dual exhaust, one of the chips and a free-er flowing air box to let the top end smile a...
This procedure is based on a collaboration of information from the forums, the Ford TSB and personal experience. I’ve only included what I feel is relevant in order to refill the system properly as quickly as possible. The general concept here is that air will accumulate at the highest point in...

Excerpts from Taurus Club of America
I purchased :
- 12,000mcd RED LEDs off e-bay (100 LEDs for $18)
- 560ohm resisters from Radioshack
I then
- soldered 9 LEDs in parallel into a V and attached a resistor to one leg

Car washes can be hard on the fragile power antenna mast in the Lincoln Town Car. However, it is relatively easy to replace and not very expensive. Antenna masts can be found frequently on Ebay for between $10 and $20. This procedure also applies to most Lincoln Automobiles.

Here is a little Lincoln Tech article for you. The general idea here is to get more air into the engine thereby increasing efficiency and power. This is an at-your-own-risk mod. I am not responsible if you happen to break something while completing this mod.

This is a time consuming job, but can be done with basic hand tools. It's just a matter of using the tools in the right combination for each bolt. I did have to run out and buy a 7 mm wrench, as well as a 1/4 drive 10 mm deep well to get to a couple of tight areas. My Craftsman...

I added some brake ducts to my LS - intakes from the lower front grill - through tubing - into the wheel spindles. This should help cool your brake rotors for better braking performance.
Here's what I used:
Black NASCAR Race Car NACA vents - I found these on eBay

Replacing the COPs (coil-on-plug) is an all to common occurrence on early model Lincoln LS. the Valve covers tended to leak oil into the spark plug area, shorting the COPs.
