I have a 2002 and Ive also noticed that when I play burnt cds in my player they skip a lot, but when I buy commercial cd's they never skip. I've also been using the cheap kind of cdr's Im going to try using a high quality cd'r instead to see what happens. Maybe our players like the high class stuff.

Ive got a 2002 LS V8 and I love it, ofcourse I liked my MarkVIII more, but you cant compare both cars b/c they are totally different. My 2002 has only had the coil pack replaced along with several coils, and the drivers side window regulator. Other than that, its been perfect, I wouldnt change...

well when it works its calibrated right, but sometimes it turns on and sometimes its off, or sometimes it flashes and all you see is a little small line, Im thinkig its a false contact of some sort or something.
