I made a custom molded ram-air hood for my Chevy Beretta GTZ/3800sc. It got stolen two years ago. WELL, I got a PM monday with a name. Then on tuesday, I get a PM with a plate number and location. I can't wait till morning to give the detective the plate number and go get my hood.

Pictures of the hood that was stolen.

Had the car at a friends shop. Friend parked it outside over night. The hood was shut, but not latched. Thief took a 7/16's to it. Four bolts, bye, bye hood. That was over two years ago. Got to love custom one off parts that will only one kind of car.

I make another one to replace the one that was stolen. I don't like it as much.

thats one nice chevy beretta, did those come with the 3800 supercharged engines also?

Booo, All that makes me think of is my 01 Trans Am Ws6. Had the induction that has been slain all over those hoods :(

I hated my beretta! It was the biggest POS car I have ever driven. But yours is quite nice! Guess mine was not well cared for before I got it. It was a cheap first car. Also it was not the 3800/SC kind it was the 2.2L 4-cyl.

We really should unite one day and beat the crap out of someone. It's my fantasy.

Hey Rollin - Between the hood and the pictures, you must have a sign that says "steal from me please" on your forehead or something. lol

Let us know how you make out with this situation.

The first rule is, you don't talk about it..

:D

I believe that that was the point..............

Hopefully the person deserves it, and it isn't just some random guy ;)

To put a beat down on someone who deserves it. But don't do it as a group. It is much more special up close and personal. Don't get me wrong. I don't believe in violence, but in some people's lives, that is all that they understand. I know a few people who are changed people since they received their beat down. They now look at life differently and don't touch what belongs to others.

I swapped the 3800sc into it. It originally had a 3.1 140 horses power POS in it. Now its 3800sc/L67 240 stock. BUT its not stock.:D

Starting to think that.

They could only wish. Best the Retta came with was a 2.3L DOHC Quad 4. 160 hosses at some point in there. They could really move but those engines were crap, they'd throw timing belts every 60k, and burn out the ignition coils every 30k. (kinda sounds like an LS :p )

Thats a pretty sweet lookin Retta Rollin. I used to own an 89' Corsica LTZ, the 4 door cousin. Swapped in a 5 speed, and even with the stock 2.8 v6 I could spin through 3rd gear no prob. That car was my baby, and I'm still looking for another one.

Good luck with getting your hood back.

Thanks for the compliment.:)

BTW Quad 4 2.3 DOHC 5-speed was 190 horsepower. Blow headgaskets left and right. Most of them were junked for that reason.

We had I think an 89 Beretta with the 2.8 and that thing was surprisingly quick for a little 6 cyl.
