    Motocraft Strut Rod Bushings

The SR to LCA bushings are supposed to be fine with using aftermarket. But if you really want Ford, Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree MA has 2 of each of the SR to LCA bushings. 781-848-1350 Part #s: E9SZ-3A140-B - forward E9SZ-3A140-A - rear

Rubber seal around the air intake tube

The real Ford part number is F7LZ-9D634-AA. Retails for around $20 when you could get them. You might be able to find one new, but it's a long shot. Ask a dealer to do a nationwide search. This dealer MIGHT have one, if so it's probably the last one on earth: Bob Allen Ford (913) 381-2999 BTW...

3D Printing Obsolete Automotive Replacement Parts

As I recall, the OEM part is acetal resin with impregnated metal fibers, so I doubt if it would last long. Also, it is indeed still available, you just have to buy the motor with it. Not trying to downplay it, it's really cool. There are a ton of other parts that this would be ideal for. EDIT...

Obsolete Strut Rod needed or where to find

I'd check with Racebronco and see if he has any or can get them from one of his California junkyard cars. If you want new original strut rods, retail is around $100 ea, and there are a few still floating around. I see two listed at a dealer in Puerto Rico haha. Part number is F3LY-3468-A.

    Braided Brake Hoses Help

Here are some pics of mine that Jeremi installed on my car. I can't give you much else info-wise because I wasn't involved in the install. FRONT: REAR: Good luck. You'll love 'em!

Strut Rod to Frame Bushings Replacement Procedure

There are sleeves sold individually still out there. There are two possible part numbers for each. The ones starting with E9 were for T-birds, the F3 was for Mark VIII's. The only difference between the two is that the T-bird sleeves have a slightly looser fit with each other than the Mark VIII...

    Rusty Brake Lines - 1st blow-out

Jesus Christ, what is it with Inline Tube? A good number of us have sent in old brake lines to have reproduced, and they always end up doing them. I assume they have to scan and create some sort of computer files in order to make the new ones. Why aren't they saving them? Every time a new guy...

Adjust Parking Brake - Auto release - Light

For fastening the cable to the car, there are three clips that hold the main cable to the frame. As far as I know they're still available. Part # is in picture and you need to order 3. About $6 each. And yes they do rust away, leaving the cable to flop around under the car. If the clip is gone...

Stock Carpet for Lincoln Mark VIII

The place I ordered mine from had a toll free number and I was able to order it without the plastic square. They did still include it loose in the box though haha. The thing I didn't like was the way the inside corners like in front of the rear seats were bunched up. Luckily I ended up finding a...

This thread is also informative, with pics. The worm and gear for the forward/backward get worn out and can cause problems as well. http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/forum/showthread.php?75001-ok-has-anyone-taken-the-seat-track-gears-apart

    My kingdom for CV boots!

Well, after writing that, I managed to locate a dealer in North Carolina that had the last one on earth. The guy said the box looked like it came over on the Mayflower haha. So I still need one more. At this point I'm willing to take a used shaft with a good boot. If anybody has a bad shaft or...

    My kingdom for CV boots!

Well, some boots are still available. I'm just not sure which ones will fit, if any. The "correct" boot for Mark VIIIs are long gone. That same boot (F2SZ4K326C) was used for all V8 MN12s and Marks starting in '93, despite the fact that several different shaft/inner joint combinations were used...

    My kingdom for CV boots!

I guess I edited out too much. Long story short, I got ahold of some NOS shafts, literally like brand new. But the inner joint (the tripod joint) has to be bought separately and comes with no boots. So I need some good boots before I can assemble them. And if anyone has to ask, I bought these...
