The real Ford part number is F7LZ-9D634-AA. Retails for around $20 when you could get them. You might be able to find one new, but it's a long shot. Ask a dealer to do a nationwide search. This dealer MIGHT have one, if so it's probably the last one on earth: Bob Allen Ford (913) 381-2999 BTW...

As I recall, the OEM part is acetal resin with impregnated metal fibers, so I doubt if it would last long. Also, it is indeed still available, you just have to buy the motor with it. Not trying to downplay it, it's really cool. There are a ton of other parts that this would be ideal for. EDIT...

I'd check with Racebronco and see if he has any or can get them from one of his California junkyard cars. If you want new original strut rods, retail is around $100 ea, and there are a few still floating around. I see two listed at a dealer in Puerto Rico haha. Part number is F3LY-3468-A.

Yep, they are unobtainium. No aftermarket either. For what it's worth, part number is F7LZ-9L437-AA.
