Hi Everyone,

I have searched everywhere and cannot find the front strut rod bushings from Ford. I have found the "inners" that connect to the frame, but not the ones that connect to the LCA.

Doesn't anyone know where to source these?

Read your post wrong.

I got mine on ebay. Looks like there aren't any up right now. Have you gone down to your Ford dealer and asked them to not be lazy and actually search their network for them?

Thanks Guys!

I didn't call Tasca, but their site only lists the SR to frame, the Strut Rod to LCA are n/a - see link below.

I called my dealership and they can get the same as Tasca - they did a search and said they could get the SR to frame and that it could take a week or two.

Has anyone used the ACDelco or Raybestos Professional Grade bushings? And if so, how are they? These can be sourced easily.

I have purchased all new ACDelco P.G. except inner and outer tie rods, as the responses here seem pretty good and they look identical to the Rabyestos pics on Amazon, which most seem to like as well.

Also how do you check the inner tie rods? I tired to push on mine (up and down) and didn't see any movement, my outer tie rods look good, I think they may have been replaced before I purchased the M8. I have only put 18k miles since purchase.

I also read your post wrong.

Strut Rod to Frame you can get from Tasca (inner and outer) as I got mine from there.

Strut Rod to LCA I was not able to find. From my understanding, the -frame bushings are without question a MUST BUY OEM ONLY but the LCA Moog and such is perfectly fine.

Wait, then did I read the post right the first time? My original response was that if you're talking about the LCA to strut rod bushings, aftermarket is fine. Moog, Raybestos, whatever. I have not seen people complain about them and I've had Moog bushings on my car for several years without issue.

The frame bushings are OEM must buy, LCA to strut rod can be aftermarket.

The SR to LCA bushings are supposed to be fine with using aftermarket. But if you really want Ford, Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree MA has 2 of each of the SR to LCA bushings. 781-848-1350
