I think Tux hates me :....(

Very cool she told me that when TUX was fixed she spent 2 hours washing and detailing TUX and i believe it. LOL

I love you all so much...and NO RICH, it didn't take a month, after detailing Tux I came home, moved LDB and Sthil around in the driveway to get Tux back into his garage.... Tux decided to expell every ounce of antifreeze in a 20foot line from the road, up the driveway and onto his garage floor (I think he was POed from being BESIDE the garage from October to March!!!!- lol) now to find the leak... since then he has stayed cool with only water... waiting for him to get hot enough, or a day off work so I can locate the busted hose..Lord... please let it be a busted hose.... lol

I love my LVC HOTTIES!!!!

my baby loves me... I leave the garage door open and I can hear the spider valve let after abou t5 mins, then 30 mins later he lowers and goes to sleep.... ahhh, Im a proud mama.... POOR, but proud!!!...

NO! I have not and I have been driving him all the time with just water... don't understand...maybe he was just letting off steam from being on jack stands for so long (dream on huh!)!!! lolol

AGAIN!!!!!!! A few months aago replaced thermostat - then the he oeverheatede again.... then replaced the coolant temp sesor - overheated again. I gave up.... I finally took him to the steelership and they hooked up to diag. - called me up and said diag said it was the CTS - I said I just replaced it - they said it must be bad... So I let them replace it.... When they gave me the part they said that that advanced gave me the wreong part.... took it back dvanced said it was the wrong part... so thought I got to the bottom of it - deff past the bottom of my purse! Two weeks later (this friday) HE OVERHEATS AGAIN...

Im losing my mind I had him towed back to the steelersip - they now say it is the fan... it is not working it was then slowed then slurred then stopped working... I told them that he got a new (used) fan 2 years ago (remember Gil?) and then one again this spring... so I asked what is making the fan go bad. They said they don't knbow they can't get a fan and dont know what else to do.....

Really... REALLY!!!!!!!! The only Lincoln dealership in town does not know what to do....

Same exact thing would happen to my '93. Fan would go bad every single summer. If it wasn't the fan then the plug would melt. Last time I had to fix it in October of 2011 I grabbed the fan from another '93 I had sitting at home & the plug, swapped them both & it did great until I sold the car in August.
 
Debi, let me know if you need a cooling fan. Take a look at the cooling fan connector. If the fan has been drawing too many amps, it's probably melted the connector.
 
Will do - thanks chargerxr. I have a fan...but at this rate, I might want to just get a few of everything in the whole cooling system.... I left the old thermostat in Tux. I want to boil it to see what temp it opens at... I bet it was good.

Any suggestions on what I should ask the guy who did the diagnosis?
 
so despite the overheating history... you guys till think its the fan... ok - I'll order a new one. To get him home I will put the spare in I have... yeah at the steelership.... that couldn't find a fan...
