simple, because monday through friday i work full time at my job, and weekends i work in my shop, so, the only time i can buff the car is on the weekends, and derrik's car is smack dead in the middle of my shop, so i cant get the beemer inside, and i want derrik's car running and sitting back in his driveway and not my shop, so the sooner i get his car gone, the sooner i can have my whole shop back to myself! if i lose it, i lose it, oh well!

Charge more, pay less to worker......profit. Yeah it is more complicated than that I know, but you could do more:D
 
nah i'll keep my shop and hobby for myself! i dont like people, so i deffinetly dont want someone else inside my shop touching my stuff. that is asking for problems.

Good work Jamie, those IMRC's looked pretty bad! Glad you cleaned them!

As for the bimmer how about this. We'll work on my car then and when we finish we'll both work on the BMW. I wouldn't dream of charging you a nickel for the help. As I said I can wax it if you want.

I have one outburst and now I'm deemed an automotive reject. Seriously I'm usually a perfectionist and will work at something until it is perfect. I used to detail years back and was damn good at it. I always end up getting detail jobs around my neighborhood because people are blown away at how nice my cars usually look and feel.
 
I ment it more buy the comment Jamie made about other peple in his shop touchin his sh*t. Id feel the same way, nothing against you.

Maybe you'll get lucky and Laser will install the KB blower on backwards or something to divert attention to him. :lol: J/K Laser.

i dont want help on the beemer it all has to be done with machine so there wouldnt be anything you could do, plus a job like that, i like to be left alone, fans on, stereo cranked and just go to town. i'm not gonna lose sleep over the car if i lose it, but i doubt i will, he's a friend of mine and he hasnt even called to see whats up with it, he is moving into a new house now anyway so he doesnt need the car. i'm not gonna worry about the beemer i just want your car done asap.
 
2 pics from tonight, motor is all back in and hooked back up, still got the tranny and driveshaft and tank to put in. i got out of work at 4 pm tonight, and finished up a set of headlights i had to finish. as of 5:30 pm tonight, derriks engine was still on the engine stand, at 8 pm it looked like this...

Wow...just wow! You really bust your a s s Jamie. I'll bring the new water pump, spark plugs, torque converter, fuel pump, and fluids on Saturday along with the coils.
 
well, i fired it tonight, it runs, but rough, i worked on this :q:q:q:qer from 9 am till 1 am, i had to call it quits for the night. i think it has a dead injector, tomorrow i will poke more at the motor, but it did fire up!! i am so god dam beat it isnt funny.
 
:q:q:q:q this car, i wish i never opened my mouth about doing this. this will be the only motor swap i ever do for anyone. time and time again i do this :q:q:q:q to myself and i cant figure out why i do it! i dont have the patience for this crap no more.
