Wheels That Fit Mark VIII's

I have a set of em' that will be available soon, 18x9 and 18x10 black deep dish bullets. Some light scuffing on a couple of the edges but they look to be in good shape to me, switching to a different set and these came with the car. PM me if interested.
I finally decided on a set of Bullet Staggered 18x9s and 18x10s but it seems like I'm too late. Everywhere I look they only have 18x9s, no more 18x10s until... Any ideas where I might find these wheels, new or used?

Only post wheel and tire combination that you have actually used and had success with. Also if you had to hub swap, roll fenders or you have it lowered. A picture would be appreciated but not necessary

If you can’t supply all the information please don’t post until you do so there won’t be any questions about that combination. Please start another thread if you want a discussion about a certain combination, let’s just keep this to facts.

So...

-Brand of rim (American muscle, factory 04 Cobra, Ford racing )
-Size of rim (width, bolt pattern, height and offset. Exp, 9",114.3x5,17,36mm)
-Tire brand (firestone, Goodyear)
-Tire size (255/45/17)
-Modifications (i.e. hub swap, fenders rolled, stiffer shocks, sway bar used, lowered or not, or other info that allowed you to use the combination)

Bump

I just found a nice set of American Racing #49's in really nice shape, dirt cheap. Here is a photo, nice wheel changes the personality of the car (it had 10 spoke chromes).

Helo HE844 18 x 8, 40mm offset, 5 x 4.25 with Bridgestone Fuzion 245/45. Sensor lowered about an inch and Cobra Bilstein shocks. Can't believe how spectacular it rides and I really like the way it looks, too! Very happy. :p My rotors and pads are new and the CobraStar is staying, so don't make those suggestions. lol

Back when I had a bagged Suburban I ran into issues finding wheels with the correct offset and back spacing needed to lay the truck out. While shopping around I found out that most wheel suppliers on fleebay stock blank wheels. Meaning that once your order is placed they will then drill out the pattern for you. Needless to say I found the rim I wanted and had them drilled to fit my burb. Once tax returns come back next year I am doing the same thing for my Mark. Ive already sent inquiries to numerous fleebay suppliers and the selection of wheels for our cars is greater than you think. Anything ranging from 16s to 22s in various offsets so you can get staggered ones if you like. If you see a wheel you like ask them if the wheel is a blank....I did this with various suppliers and the answer was yes.

does anybody know if any of these will fit a 98-02 conti? i believe they have the same offset but im not sure about the actual fitment.

I have the 18X9 Speedstar wheels with the Mark8 bolt-pattern.
36mm offset
Sensor lowered
245-45s up front and 265-40s out back.
PERFECT fit with no rub anywhere ever.

i would LOVE to have some of these on my continental,(below) if they fit.

My car is a '98 LSC T red, just like Gearheads. By a freak chance, I came upon some FondMetal 17x7 with our 108 spacing, and the right offset. They're a five spoke design and I have 225x60 on the front and 225x65 out back. I needed Blizzaks for my trip into winter hell Alberta in January, and these were what I found cheap on Craigslist ($80!!) with 9/32 tread. I believe at full lock going right I rub a tad bit. I cannot say enough for these tires. I was driving on pure ice going over Lookout Pass and with careful inputs my car didn't miss a beat. Earlier, going into Glacier Park, we hit 6 inches of un-plowed fresh, and they were right on point and plowed right through. I have to admit that I shouldn't have exposed my beauty to that -35 weather, but that's why I bought it - to drive. After the car's impressive performance, I have to repair all quirks, as I cannot imagine a better all-around vehicle for an old fart like me. It also averaged 24.4 in subzero temps. A 16 year old car w 100k. I've got a '75 450SL that's going on the market - I've found my two-door cruiser.

thought I'd update the thread with my current wheels.

97 Cobra wheels 17x8 with 30mm offset, 255/50/17 nitto nt555s. Still on tokico lowering springs.

Eric, I have yet to see a chrome snowflake in person, only in pics. were there a few that were actually chrome from the factory?

I've seen pictures with a few Mark's with them but never in person as well. I'll have to look through my dealer books and see if anything useful come up, but you may be right, could be just a couple one off's out there.

I just noticed I only posted Gen I's, :D

I don't believe the chrome snowflakes were a factory option. But they are cool as heck! And the snowflakes pictured first aren't "painted". They are machined. I'm one of the few here who actually like the snowflake wheels. They look good on some Marks, not so good on others. I had them on my '97 LSC for a little bit and they didn't look good at all. But they looked awesome on my Toreador red '96. Just my opinion.

Greeting, this is my first post.
A few days ago, I bought my first Mark VIII. It's a 1995, an odd metallic gray with a hint of purple, 67k miles.

Love the car, but not in love with the wheels. "Painted Motion 10 Spoke", meh.
I think it would look great with either of the wheels linked below, but I don't see them on the list posted above.

Is either going to fit?

THANKS IN ADVANCE
