Hey guys,

I dont know how many of you are familiar with my old user name over on markviii.org but before I stumbled to this awesome site, I owned 2 other m8s. I had a 94 that mechanically was mint and I sold it for my 97, which I bought, dumped a crap ton of money into and then decided to sell it because the paint was peeling. Well, today I got a PM from LVC user "Tiltedhalo"... Long story short, and I dont know how he made the connection that I was the one that sold him his car but he did!

Anyway, and Jaime pay attention to this one!

I have owned about 13 cars, and this is the one car that I wish I could have had back... For the past year I've been asking my wife, "I wonder what happened to that car" and "man, I wish I had never sold it".

And also, huge congrats Tiltedhalo, you did all the things to the car that I could never afford. You know, Jaime tried long and hard to buy that car off of me.
 
i remember his thread too, because i asked how big the rear tires were lol, i would have never known it was your car dan!
 
Its funny how things work out. I always just figured the car got a paint job and that was probably it. Never thought it would have gotten all the cool stuff it ended up with.

I love my cars, its my only real thing. I guess its lucky this car went to an owner that would do this kind of thing, there are only like 20 cars on this site with this degree of modding done to them, so its kind of a big deal.
I sold my 95 Taurus SHO about a month ago that I had for 5 years to a guy that is a very active member on SHOforum.com. He is an ER doctor and already has 3 other SHOs and is having a turbo one built as we speak. That car went to a great home, he's already put an LSD diff in it and is getting it painted.

I've been fortunate, you hate to see when your car goes to a bad home.
 
yeah like my 98 dan? it left florida and went to kansas city and 2 weeks later a tornado went through and pelted the car with quarter size hail and destroyed the body. glad i never got to see that!
 
OW! Thats what happened to the black car? The one that sold for like $418,000? :D
 
I am in middle of dropping the tranny for the 4K stall and 4:30 gears, just cut back the intake runners added a plenum hat, and new stage 3 cams. This pig is going to be in the 12's and I mean mid to low 12's normally aspirated if it kills me, or my wife kills me which ever comes first. I think I am going to have to get some drag radials, I think I would have already been in the 12's with better traction.
 
I love the look, what tire brand are those. I can't find crap in a 265 50 16. I want that look.. love it..
