Florida's Official Jamie's BBQ/Mark VIII Meet info

yeah i could do that...but its also leaking tranny fluid and the front suspension is doing weird noises and im just afraid of it crapping out on me.

oh come on! that sending unit takes 5 minutes to change and its only a few bucks! if you are affraid to drive it with a few front end noises you wouldnt even get in a mark VIII with me that i buy to part out, i have driven some back that should have taken my life! you are gonna miss a hell of a good time.

All I can say is I hope whoever can make it does. This old man member is looking forward to meeting you all.

HAHAHAHAHA! You're supposed to put it on your shoulder for the pic like in the old days. That's classic! I'll have some awesome tapes for it (Ratt, Poison, Van Halen etc)

Looking forward to meeting you,.....
Man, I feel bad you have all the fuggin car problems.
It all Jamies' fault, but I hear he makes a great dip!

Better?

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Classic! Looking forward to meeting you too. I'm bringing the hammer for all to see :D

leave the hammer home, dont bring that thing anywhere near me or i might use it on your skull!!!!

i got all kinds of meat cooking right now, got two huge hamilton crock pots going on the counter!! god does it smell killer in my kitchen, i might eat it all tonight and not show up tomorrow!!!!

i just took all the chicken out of one crock pot and the beef out of the other, the beef cooked for 12 hours, the chicken cooked for 8, OMG it took a lot of restraint to leave it alone and just put it in the trays and wrap it up!!! if any of you guys want hot dogs and hamburgs grab some on the way, i already dropped over $120 bucks in food and crap so thats all i'm getting lmao!!!

I rubbed the ribs last night (3baby backs) rapped them up in tin foil at 5:15am there slow cooking away in the oven as I type :)

Car is washed and swept out, GPS is locked and loaded, Frisbee and backgammon is in the car, hmmm what else?

Do we have charcoal or do I need to bring some

Thanks to Jamie and his wife and everybody for a great time at the Mark VIII Meet & BBQ.
Good food, new friends, excellent cars, great day.

and really I see a few more in my travels and all those are just the ones that belong or montor this site. Imagine if we could get evey mark in the state to go hmmm any one work for the dmv and can look into it

Yeah, theres a few people around here I see with Marks. You could do a craigslist or facebook call-to-action Jeff. I did note the meet on the facebook Mark VIII club.

what sucks is after you guys all left my buddy Ed and his wife Monica showed up. they had to attend a funeral this morning and couldnt make it there until it was too late. but i invited them over for a few drinks and we had some left overs from the BBQ and had a good time. that would have made it 14 marks, there is only 12 in the pics, but my 93 was left by the pavillion so it didnt make it into the causeway photos. i had a great time, i hope everyone else did as well, even though it was hot out, i didnt mind after seeing the turn out! and for everyone who has only seen Lee's ( Blue T ) mark in pictures you are missing a sick ass mark. his car looks so sweet in person pics dont do it justice, Lee is a real nice stand up guy, glad i finally got to meet him, now that he lives down here it wont be the last time hanging out. thank you everyone for coming, this was a great saturday, and jeff thanks for the ribs they kicked ass, thanks for making it all come together everyone, now we need to start planning a nice cooler meet for the fall!!
here are some of my pics.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Nice Jamie.....

Yeah Blue T's car was so freaking badass! I can't stop thinking of that car.

You would think from the causeway pictures that they only made marks in Black, white and gray. I'm pissed that I missed it, but I just couldnt be there... Glad it turned out so great.

Yeah it was wierd, I guess that is representative of the degree to which they sold when new. Actually there was one more "white" car there but is was black, Mikes paint job on his supercharged black and yellow was awesome.

We should have staggered them, would have been better for the pictures.

the red one showed up after it was all over. mike's black and yellow mark was one hell of the perfect example of someone who really knows how to paint, the cars paint code is WK, opalescent, there are no signs of white as the factory color, not even in the engine bay, and mike said it was painted with the engine in the car still!!! very impressive.

yes mike's car was painted outside, no spray booth! you cant see in the pics but the car is black with gold flake, it really is a cool car.
