You did a good job. Looks WAY better than the one I saw in the junkyard recently. You should paint that rear taillight surround...

Black Out! Black Out! Black Out!..... and get different rims, or at least put the center caps back on those
i want to do a Gen2 with a Gen1 front clip Black/Black... waaaaah

.... and some nice dark tint would really set it all off!

Thanks guys. Ya I know the wheels aren't the best but were laying around the shop so I put them on for now. They're not the wheels that are going to stay on it. As far as the chrome trim on the rear, I thought I would leave it on for now to see what it looked like with the chrome on the front. I have a black lsc neon and taillights to go on if I decide to.

that looks clean man. looks fine as it is...

but i would tint the windows and get ride of the chrome around the rear lights.

Yes. Those are nice clear factory HID's with working bulbs. Not sure what I will do when they burn out. As Jaime has said on here before aftermarket hid's don't work well in these lens. I want to thank Jaime for giving me the idea to do the gen 1 front on a gen 2 last Dec. I'm thinking about doing a white one next. I bought a white 97 lsc a couple of weeks ago with minor front damage, but haven't decided yet.

You can get HID for the Gen1 housings cheap, i got mine for $40 for 2 harnesses (2 bulbs,2 ballast), they are plug n play, no bushing adapter or anything needed, straight direct fit in the 9005 bulb , they also hve them in the 9006
I have the original halogen housings, so I stuck the HIDs in the high beam (center most) spots where there is no defuser, and OMG they are bright
I personally can't immagine that the proper housing for an HID light wouldnt be better, but until I see it for myself, I guess I can't argue

I also use aftermarket hid's in all my gen 2 cars and they work great. And you are right in the gen 1 housings they work great in the high beam side and not bad in the low beam side with the diffuser, but in the hid housings on the low beam side with diffuser they are awful. I don't want to hack open a hid housing just to remove the diffuser.

when you factory hids die out, Just put aftermarket hids in both the high beam and low beam and just flick the high beams on when you need more light.
