Spectacular color choice. I just read this post from 3 years ago, and you have had quite the journey. Sure appreciate all the tips. Beautiful car - from stem to stern.

Thanks for all the comments guys, and gals.

This is where she sits right now.

Had to re-shoot the 1/4 panels due to some severe solvent pop in the clear-coat that did'nt show up till wet sanding, no big deal.

My buddy and member here (lsc8) flew out for a weeks "vacation" and helped me knock most of the stuff out that was holding me back.

I have the hood ready for paint as I type this, but will have to wait till Saturday morning due to the heat during the day. After the Clear cures, it's up for wetsanding and buffing, the the car will be re-assembled interior wise to get all of these parts out of my house and back where they belong.

Pictures.

Pardon the mess, but with the thrash last week to make progress on the paint, and the roadtrip to Boscobel, I did'nt have time to clean up proper. My reason for posting this picture is to recognize my beautiful wife Stacie, and her importance to this project. (and my life in general).

uuuuhgggggggg!!!!

I just spent an hour looking at every page of this thread, slowly building the suspense and fighting temptation to just click on the last page to see the end result....slowly, clicking, reading, drooling....waiting.....and now I am here...the last page....and....

Allllllllright so. I've got the car now.

New chapter, books not done yet.
Look for small updates over the winter, and then hopefully some bigger plans in the spring.

Hope it turns out good.

But those wheels are really ugly.

ha, i like them, they won't be staying though.

The ol' 96 going to be the new parts car?

yeah, it will donate the engine and suspension at the least, plus whatever else i need.
hopefully i can swap over obd2 without too much hassle as well.
i will be moving over the hub swapped, cobra braked, big sway bar sub frames for the front and rear.

I like those Super Coupe wheels too! I currently have a set on my M8 for the winter wheels. Much better than those ugly steel rims.
