If you still having problem, try swap starter relay with horn relay or wiper relay. all are same relays. I have this problem before before and new relay fixed it.

I have replaced my 01 LS V8 once. It's very easy. Just loose water pump pulley crews first then use big scew driver to crim pulley out. Then loose the water pump. Use new gasket when replace water pump. Hard part is it may leak after installation.

My 2001 LS V8 will not crank sometime. The battery is good and charging systems OK push out 14.2 Volts when engine running. Then I just replaced new Die Hard Gold 850 Amps. It's OK for few days, and now it does not crank sometime. It could be dead anytime anyplace. I have no ideas... Does anyone...

Belt tensioner was OK when I replaced the belt. It has 80,000 miles. I will try new tensioner next. No problem, it doesn't cost a lot. Thank you.

No. It's the same. Technically it's about 0.025"/0.7mm lower. Which don't see any differences. I am in process of droping down 1" hopping no problem my width is 7.5".

It's easy. I just replaced my 2001 LS V8 last week. First remove the liner/cover on top of the engine fan that gave me more room. use a 3/8" breaker bar on belt tensioner to slip the belt off. Then loose belt tensioner to help sliding the belt out.

Or you can buy 7.5" 40mm offset. My is 20" - 7.5" 40mm offset, with 225/35/20 tires and it fited perfectly on my 2001 LS.

Thank you. I finally have time to fix it over weekend. It's impossible to disconnect spring lock fitting on old pipe. I ended up broke the pipe to the comprssor too. So It's cost me $300 for 2 pipes and 6-8 working hrs.

Maybe. As long as I remember there is a plastic cab at the end of the cable.

Maybe cables are bad or worn out at the end. Those cables are attached to the motor module. Sound like the module and motor are working properly, so got to be the cables.
