I think Tux hates me :....(

A hottie gave it to me at carlisle - I took the red one off a few years back and put the nice big black one on - some like it some don't I do so it stays!

Pics - heck, there should be lots in the last beach party thread... and many more somewhere in here.

I love you and JD ;) Tomorrow Stihl and I will try again to get the bag right - I think we have the compressor in and functioning properly. The drivers side is now inflated. I will let JD know our progress - smooches hun!!!

Man that new compressor is so quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!

not all 4, drivers side is still up. Renting the code reader from Eddie... maybe I will get to the bottom of this...

ok.... I am having nightmares about Tux now.... I dreamed he flipped over off the jacks backwards and landed on his hood (bad storm last nights high winds....)... I have done everything I can think of... sunk tons of money, new compressor new dryer.... bags and sels are only a few years old.... I am even willing to pay one of you guys to come here and fix him (within reason lol)... now I have to look at what it's going to take to get him ready for the road (despite what I do convert or get him fixed) due to him being up on jacks since last october.... I am just sick to death.... I hate this....

I can't take it any longer.... a guy here in town just bought his mark 3 weeks ago, air was bad and it went down 5 days ago, he found a conversition kit for 200.00 dropped it in and his mark was only down for 5 days... and he has only had it for 2 weeks tops.... you'd think with all I've done, and know.... that I would have Tux's air.... this is stupid... I am actually crying.... I hate to have to do this...

If anyone knows where i can get a good deal on a conversion kit, please let me know.

Rich.... u suck.

I feel like I am killing Tux... but this air ride thing is killing me... no kidding... I'm gonna go wipe my tears and start searching for a cheap conversion kit or if any of you have one for sale... yeah yeah I know search - screw search, our search sucks (put Tux in the keyword, then MsM8tress in member name - NOTHING).

Thanks for all your help and suggestions in trying to figure out whats up, guess I am just an idiot.

I hate this I hate this I hate this.... I HATE THIS!!!!!!

No you are not killing TUX just get a 1.5 lowered conversion kit until Eddie can get those new parts into production. I know how you feel but this is just a temporary fix.

yeah, don't think of it a defeat.
its just temporary. it gets Tux back on the road until somebody figures out what the heck is going on here.

I'm not sure what's wrong with your air ride at this point.

You say you have a new compressor and the air springs are good. Does the compressor run?

If the compressor doesn't come on, did you try jacking the car up a couple of inches above slammed so the sensors aren't beyond their range?

I SERIOUSY think there is a problem in the wiring Deb. Not just at the computer, but in a bundle, or a loose or broken pin.

Get it to Colorado and ill invest the time to get it working.

If not, coils are gonna be your saviour.

Mike

Is there anybody close that can just bypass the factory stuff?
Set it up so she can control the ride height?
It's not that hard to do.

Rich - bite me.

Pepp, Bill, Chris, Mike, Fordnut - MAD LOVE!!!

If I could get the compressor on, I'd be able 2 get air in thru the gauge Ray installed in the passgr side flip lid behind the lights.. but since the gauge has been throwing wild numbers i think it is bad, but none the less, was still letting air in while the compressor is running (what we did at Gils party).... but nope, I can't even get the compressor to kick on (and it's new!).... funny cause thru all the trouble shooting (which involved a new compressor/dryer and replaced bag it worked fine, was even able to trick it by squishin the sensor...!).

Note - old compressor/dryer at gils and was sounding it, so I replaced it.... which I thought was odd because Ray installed it only 4 years ago! Regardless, I replaced compressor/dryer and the new one worked and sounded great... even with that I had leaks ... so, still working out leaks when all the sudden nothing.... nada dead.... slammed all 4's.... and compressor won't kick on.

Mike - love the begeebers outta ya, but if I could get Tux 3" offa the ground I'd drive his butt to Lincoln and pay them instead of troubln' you despite how awesome colorada in the spring would be!!! not to mention I miss the heck outta JD!!!!

If anyone is in Ohio and wants to take a shot at him I would cover your gas food and room if you have the desire!!

Currently my 95 LSC is at the shop, she decided she no longer like steering fluid and puked it out all over the garage floor..... imagine that...

LBD, is my current driver.... God bless her spark plugs... she is my winter Mark, my "beeter" - and she is a work horse!!! She has survived winters so bad she got bellied (TWICE, once on the street and once in my sisters drive way - all fours were spinning while her frame was supported by snow... {at the time, supported was not the word! to describe the situation! lol} frozen doors, frozen calipers, she purged her water pump - literally! God bless her oil slicked anti-freeze, is my dependable MARK VIII!!!

Love ya'll soooo much - I am open to any suggestions, ideas...l anything - except you rich... u just shut up...

Smooches!!!!

Somebody got a good spare relay they can send to Debbi? I want her to try a different one.

Cant she just swap the ABS relay?

Deb can you take a motorcycle batt and unplug the compressor, put the black wire to the neg. Red to the pos.
Compressor should kick on...use 10 gauge wire and hook to batt, touch inside of plug for compressor.

Thanks hottie.... I have no idea which wires you are talking about ...lol your giving me way too much credit... I would need pics to decipher which wires you are referring to (I have a spider valve with bowls attached also).

Well you could always convert it! ... No more Air Ride problems ...
I have no idea who you are....

If you need a relay let me know. I've literally got a box of good ones. I'll send you one for the price of shipping.
I will take one - I will pm you my addy!!!! Thanks!!!!

Roadboss - thanks - mad love ;)

Debi,
i had my 97 compressor not come on and I swapped relays and still nothing. So I cleaned the plug contacts inside and it fixed the problem a few years ago. I used some contact cleaner and a small screwdriver to scrape the metal contacts..
