No, my goal was to raise it some for these back roads and then drop her down for the highway runs. I just put on my Saleens and I cant go over 45 on the roads here now. When the car lowers itself the rears rub over these dips we have all around. Gonna see about getting the fenders rolled tomorrow.
If I had the ASHAM then I could get around it but the guy has not returned my email yet.
Sure looks nice with the Saleens.![]()
It takes 2 seconds before it starts (plugs maybe, what are the best to get again?)
Had 4 error codes:
Bank 1 lean
Bank 2 lean
EGR not opening or closing (forgot which)
IMRC stuck closed
I reset the codes and then put 240 miles on it. I could feel the IMRC open at 3000ish RPM so some Seafoam should help that. I imagine the lean codes are bad front O2s
The EGR though tripped the light again on the way back so I think I will swap valves with the 97 and see if that cures it.
If you are getting bank 1&2 lean codes I will bet 100% that you have a vacuum leak.
If you roll your lips, you'll be fine man. I trimmed my bumper cover also, but you don't need to worry unless you go pretty low. Check: www.thecustomwheelshop.com website. That's my car, with your wheels, and the height I drove at.
Sorry for your luck on wrecking your car, about :q:q:q:q myself when I saw your white one thinking you probably just wrecked some wheels or some :q:q:q:q. Ha. The white looks great though!!
And man, no luck on finding that lug. I cleaned and swept that whole half of the garage. Sorry about that, I don't know where it could be.
No worries man. I have locking lug nuts now.If you roll your lips, you'll be fine man. I trimmed my bumper cover also, but you don't need to worry unless you go pretty low. Check: www.thecustomwheelshop.com website. That's my car, with your wheels, and the height I drove at.

Laser, when I see this, it gets me worried. Be very careful about the work you do on the top of that engine. If I even seen all those codes, I couldn't drive it. Mine exploding put a fear in me. I'm going down to Florida to get Jamie's white 95 and he said the battery light is on but everything checks out ok. Just that little issue has me worried but I'm still going to go get it anyway. Weird how you went from a colored Gen 2 to a white Gen 2 and I'm going from a black Gen 1 to a white Gen 1 lol.
Check rockauto.com for the 02's because they have Motorcraft and they both should run you under $120 to the door. Put this code in the box that asks, "how did you hear about us" and you'll get 5% off the total.

Not much but it's a discount and I know Max can't get you two of those this cheap. The code above is good for anything they have and for anyone until March 7th. Nothing else goes in the box except for the code numbers.
Again, please be careful when working under that hood.
or he has a small p3nis
Id bet almost anything that C&L MAF meter was causeing issues.
No worries man. I have locking lug nuts now.
Small side not and I know you had no idea but both front wheels are ever so slightly bent. Found that out an hour into my first drive on them. They balenced them fairly well but when I get new fronts next month I am gonna rotate those wheels (swap tires) to the rear and see if that helps. Slight vibration at 5-=6-mph bugs me.
Hah, I have to laugh at you dude, (in the friendliest way possible!!) those wheels weigh 25 lbs- they can't be bent without being visually noticeable on the lips. And those tires'd have some horrific flat spots with my 130mph runs. I'm positive it's the tires from sitting for so long on the car without being moved before I took them off .. which is common from any tire that sits, and it goes away after a hundred miles or so usually. But yeah, it sucks that the camber wore those insides like that.
Your progress is looking good, I'd swap that crap out too! Seeing your pics makes me like the 2ng gen a bit more.
What'd you do about the bumper screw? That's exactly how low I want mine but I didn't think that 275's would tuck that low.
They'll tuck til the bag's empty. I drove my car completely vented with no compressor for about 5 miles (to the shop -- I was mad and didn't give a sht at the time, and the tires barely rubbed on the inside(just the rear, but not enough to rub the letters off the tires))
You really wanna know what i did about the bumper screw? I cut where I needed, (while the car was lowered and wheels with 275's on so I know where it needed to be cut) then I unscrewed the screw, and threw it along with what I cut off in the trash.![]()
Sounds bad, but it doesn't hang in the breeze. It stays put. I buffed the edge so it was nice and rounded and aesthetically matches the rolled lip. Unless you know what it's supposed to look like, it looks normal. If you're going to do this, .. I used a razorblade knife with a brand new blade, and cut from the top edge down and (rounded, or angled the cut) inward., you can't tell where I stopped cutting because I arched my cut. Keep in mind this was prior to paint, but I think you could get by without painting. Just make sure your blade's sharp and touch up the edge with some clear fingernail enamel so to keep the paint from chipping or peeling.
So you left the new struts and shocks, and lowering springs?
And there appears to be a slight oil leak. It does not drip in the car port, havent seen a single spot but I saw a drop hanging on that round black seal underneath.
