You have GOT to be kidding me....

i dont know how i never saw these posts but i cant believe how many people in here have talked shyt who have bought from us after these were made. as far as the grill obviously not many of you can read or think with your heads, the grills we sell that are broken are for people to use to fix maybe one or two fins that might have snapped from there grill instead of spending 300+ on new grills. its not very hard to cut out a good fin and put it into another grill, thats why we sold it, and why are we the bad guys for selling a broken grill? people buy them, just for that reason, to fix one that may not be that bad and worth fixing. i cant believe all the shyt talking. and 560 for a hood, why dont you break it down buddy, i had nothing but problems with you before anyway, 560 included buying wood, making a crate, the price of the hood, and the shipping, i dont come up with freight prices i dont own the trucking company, shipping a crate that size out of florida to almost anywhere is at least $125 bucks at a minimum, we didnt say the price on the hood was 560, even i gave hoods away for free, crating and shipping is gonna be a $200 bill easy. use your head jackass. i dont price anything we sell, and its not a father son team, he is not my dad, he is my wife's dad, he is the one who prices the parts, so dont drag me into anything in these forums if you have a problem with the price, i joined these forums because i am a mark VIII owner myself , i didnt join them to sell parts, when do any of you see me post in the classifieds for our car parts, i never do, cuz i'm not in it for the money, honestly i'm sick of the car parts, i'm sick of the cry baby winers who dont know what used parts are, and i'm sick of all the other B.S that goes along with it. i'm ready to bail out of it all and throw all the parts in the trash. there are two sides to every story and no one hears your phone calls to us or sees your emails when you cant read what you buy. i've been doing this for 9 years, and i get a handful of crap like this where my side never comes out and you twist shyt around so bad it isnt even funny, then the ones who say they are never doing business with us are on the phone with us asking for parts, i dont get it, i swear my mark VIII days are numbered i'm so tired of this crap.

and yes i realize its 2 years old so what. still pisses me off.
 
If you were around here back then and let them know about fixing the grilles they would have understood, I buy from you whenever I need stuff. People just like to bitch about anything and half those guys arent even here anymore.
For every person that bitches theres 20 or 30 that had a good experience and didnt say anything. I never saw that post before.

ive purchased from you and never had a problem.. i was quite satisfied to be exact...

and as for used parts for mark viii's... they all seem expensive to me.. no matter who is selling it.. thats what we deal with when owning a decade+ old luxury car

Bought from Jamie before with no problem at all. Once on ebay once and once not, both times communication was impeccable and prices reasonable.
 
i want to clear up what some asswipe said about we put stuff on ebay and then sell it outright over the phone to keep clean feedback, that isnt any farther from the truth, my father in law doesnt like to sell things outright, ask anyone who has called on the phone, we shoot high for the ones wanting it outright because we know we'll get more then our opening bid. he figures if you want something outright he is going to price it on the average ending bid that part will sell for, we always tell people, this is how much it is outright, OR wait for it to be listed for much less and take a chance bidding you may get it way cheaper than the price he gives over the phone. we dont sell outright to avoid feedback, we need feedback, thats what keeps us going, i love how people who dont know us or work with us think they know how everything is run at our end. this is the kind of post that makes me want to drop everything and get the hell out of this kind of business, 90% of the time it isnt worth it, i have so had it with doing this, as far as i an concerned personally i could care less who's car keeps running because of us. i'm sorry to the people who stand behind me and good things to say but these other dicks ruin it for everyone, this is the most unprofessional you will see me talk on here, one person can only be pushed so much before they talk like i am, i'm at the point where i dont care and i'm tempted to cancel all my accounts on these lincoln boards and just get out of it. ive made friends and alot of customers doing this but i can only stay calm for so long before i blow a gasket. sorry for the rant.

I have had good experiences buying from you also through ebay, and +1 on the turd comment-no shortage there, lots of attitudes and opinions from people who bandwagon.

Props for calling them out, should be a little more of that here. Disagree, yea, that's one thing, getting personal, uncalled for IMO.

I wanted to use it as a starting point for making a custom one, without having to jeopardize my original one.

And don't take two year old internet pile-ons personally. You're an asset to the Mark VIII community and you've bailed me out of some serious hurried car problems on more than one occasion.
 
i know its old but still, some of the names in there are still here today, this post and the fender post buddylee started, really got my blood boiling i know people have opinions and are just as welcome to say what they want as i am but when the truth gets so stretched or its totally turned around 180 then i get really pissed.
 
I try to look at things both ways.

For one Jamie, you have helped out a LOT and threads like this come up and its unfortunate. I think this thread started before you were really active here. Regardless, the thread was incorrect since it was bid on! That should have shut em up right there! lol

On the flip side. This thread is no different than others I have seen with links to eBay. Including my recent one about the "hidden door" concept. I remember you flaming that car, and either you or other flaming the seller for even selling it. That thread is no different than this. While that person may no be a member here, I am sure if the seller came across that thread they would have felt how you feel now.

And I bought from Jamie long before he was on this site when I had my '95 LSC as my daily. Still grab stuff every now and then when my old man needs something for it (like my opening sentence in this post). :D

i never flamed the seller for selling that car, all i expressed was i did not think the car was anything to be proud of, the overall picture is the car is totally hacked, but more power to the seller i would get rid of it too if it was mine. i never once said they shouldnt sell it. the flaming i have done was more on the people who keep putting links up to the car , its already been covered 650 million times.
and to the person who started this post who might not even be a member here, we listed something broken on ebay, why did that spark hate towards us? all this shyt comes out because we listed a broken part on ebay, who the hell gives him the right to worry about what i list, it sold didnt it, how many cars are listed on ebay right now that dont run, or have broken items, or need complete restorations, whats different about those items? people sell broken stuff on ebay everyday but i list a broken grill which i CLEARLY stated it was broken and all the sudden me and my father in law are a**holes? maybe it did start before i was really active here, but who is anyone to bitch about what i might sell on ebay, its a free country if you have a problem with something i'm selling, click off the damn add jerk off.

I didn't realize that was you (ebay GTXname) but I got stuff from you when I had a 94 and since I got my 96-with your help/inventory, I made both run and look great, no one twists your arm to buy on ebay, and since they changed the feedback so that only sellers can get negs, it is a little uneven in my opinion. You are on my favorites list and I usually check what you are listing, right now my mark is as good as I can get it, but if you ever go outta the business, lots of us will need help-hang in there, don't let the ya knows get you down.

I bought stuff from him along time ago, before Jamie showed up on the mark 8 boards.

I was pleasantly suprised to find out Jamie was mopargtx's son.

Since then I have bought items from jamie, always very FAIR priced.

He "came thru" in a pinch when some scumbag busted up Tiffany's steering column he could have charged me alot more than what he did for the column.

hats off to Jamie and his father, I am NEVER worried about bidding on something they are selling, as their descriptions ALWAYS point out IF there is anything wrong with the part.

Same pos feedback here. I've called on a sat and had the parts on tues. The only thing out of the ordinary was my laughing at the packaging job. The parts were packed excellent. You're a nice resource jamie, I'd have alot more headaches and more time spent looking if you weren't selling parts. It's nice just to call or see what you have on ebay when I need something. It's quick and easy and if it costs a bit of a premium sometimes, that's fine. It's premium service in a niche market.

thanks for the kind words everyone i appreciate all of it. i normally blow off the negative crap or try to but sometimes i cant help it i'm human and i get just as pissed as anyone else does and sometimes i have to speakmy mind even if it gets me a warning or kicked off somewhere. i can only take so much from the little pee on bastards.
