What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

so i was sitting in traffic to day when my car started surging/bucking like it had a bad misfire. even stalled twice. i got it back to work ( this was on my lunch break) and let it sit for awhile. checked under the hood for anything obvious. found a disconnected vacuum line. fixed it but the problem continues. i also have an intermittent CEL that i really need to find out the code, im sure its related. Ive gotten the misfire before but to a much lesser degree. is there anyway i can read/get somehow the codes on my 93 without a scanner?

it has an Addco 1.125" rear antisway bar and red prothane bushings. I DID apply some grease inside those when it was installed, but maybe not enough?

can I add more to it now? I kinda think something(s) in the trunk might be making noise while driving, the liner is kinda deformed and not firmly attached

Look at the ebrake cable where it connects in the rear, between the sway bar and diff. Tie it up if it's not already
 
this white car is so dam low I can barely get under the rear sway bar...pretty sure I see what you're talking about....metal housing with the spring attached?

The lights came out real good, Oh you mean the missing fingertip. Cancer, better off without it so it can't spread. It's a little weird, but I'll adapt. Last week I gave the DMV person a good look at it. Who has flipped off a dmv person, and it was OK?
 
opened the LED's I bought for the instrument cluster; mistakenly ordered T5 instead of T10 bases...does the mark use a T5 wedge LED anywhere?

ordered NOS oem front SRB's (E9SZ3B271A, F7SZ3A225AA).....I had sleeves I didn't think I'd need, gave em to Trippen Out....oops

I think you can mod a T5 to work in the info panel/EATC buttons.. Maybe

I know you mentioned that finger awhile back...are you relieved Tony? it's an adjustment but you'll adapt!
 
Rear window prices vary wildly depending on location and availability. I've seen the for just over $300 to over $800.
 
Repainted the passenger side conti handle again, on car. This time it's perfecto! Have the primer and paint ratio down pat to get the closet possible color match. Next weekend I'll be redoing the D. side. Just happy I could get the color closer as it was bothering me more than it should've.

It's a good feeling to know the cancer is gone. It's coming along well. Good things take time. Of course I'm always thinking of the government for giving me Agent Orange, and not in a good way. I'm keeping my screen name, and not changing it to STUMPPY
 
Coming back from the Casino, and here comes a purple MK VIII. Some old guy, eyes glued to the road, going around 85 mph. Looked in good shape. I saw where he exited, and next time I go for a ride I'll be looking for it. $92.00 of free gas, and $1100. profit. Another good trip, but no MK VIII, I had the PU
 
And yeah, I was meaning that people that steal stuff should be the kind of people that get hand cancer. I can empathize with you Tony on the gov feelings. I went through my house removing all Sodium Fluoride after I read up on it, but too late
