I've noticed a lot of you have adjustable fuel pressure regulator on your stock engines w/ bolt-ons. Why?
 
I have found you can tune the car at the track with a slight change in the FPR.
 
My 93- Everthing is still stock to this day. Including the bags. Sorry it's had a tune-up.

The chamelion- paint code TA factory.-Everything is original, even the plugs and wires for now. The fuel pump has been replaced, and it has a napa reman starter [weird huh?]. That is all I can tell from the list of invoices I got with the car.

And the 95- Trans-go shift kit. 3 inch center pipe. No cats. Flo's for teh sound of it. And a dacco 2500 stall converter. Other things to come this thaw.
 
Sorry I was busy for the last few days but here is the list of mods that I had last year.

Best time to date on this old setup was 10.64@128 mph
ENGINE:
Forged bottom end with:
Cobra Crank
Manley rods with ARP 2000 bolts
Manley Flat top Pistons (0.020 over)
SHM Piston rings.
Rotating assembly was balanced and prepared by Seanhylandmotorsports and the Engine was reassembled by ME.
Stock heads ported by Me to match IMRC deletes.
Cobra Intake manifold( Ported by me and runners were shortened 2 inches)

POWER ADDER:
Vortech V2 S trim running 12 PSI of boost.(3.2 Reichard racing 6 rib Pulley)
Anderson Meth Injection.
Upgraded Bypass Valve.
Reichard racing Manual belt tensioner and steel cobra tensioner help keeping the belt tight.

FUEL:
42 Injectors
255 Walbro HP fuel Pump.

Exhaust:
Kooks Headers from SCP.
Dual 2.5 inch into single 3.5 inch pipe and 3.5 inch Dynomax straight through muffler.

Trans:
Stock and original Trans with 94k miles on it with J Mod.
Dirtydog 4200 stall Torque Converter.
2 trans coolers.
trans temp gauge.

Rear end ,suspension:
Stock rear end with 4.10 gears and track lock.
03 cobra coupe rear shocks.
KYB front shocks.
Coil over conversion and lowered over 2 inches.
Front sway bar removed.
Hub swapped to 4.5" bolt pattern.
Weld Prostar Wheels.
MMX driveshaft.


Bolt ons or supporting mods.
80mm C&L MAF
Meziere Electric water pump.
BBK 65mm Throttle body.

Best motor time is a 13.9 and best nitrous time is a 12.1. It has more in it, as last year I was posting consistent 12.3 times on street tires. Local track is at 1600 feet but the D/A here is always usually in the 2500 range.

When I first started reading that I didn't look at the name, I just started to think to myself "Man, this guy could compete with Driller!" :) That list is just all kinds of impressive.

One thing I DO have that seems to be unique is some specific data about track results:

1/4 mile ET: 12.1891
1/4 mile MPH: 109.57
Track Altitude: 1330 feet
Temperature: 65 degrees
Humidity: 81%
Pressure: 30.15"

That gives me a corrected altitude of 1850 feet.
Corrected 1/4 mile ET: 11.933
Corrected 1/4 mile MPH: 111.981

Never ran the Kenne Bell setup at the track. Though it did dyno 492whp & 507wtq on 15psi.

nice times! what high stall do you have? I'm losing time in the beginning - but no wheel spin. best 60 foot is like 2.1. but its a turd out of the hole. I have a 2002 stang trans and sct chip, the shifts are still not as fast as i'de like them to be, losing time there.

And it seems when it pops into third that its a huge turd also dipping below the peak HP band.

I think if i had these things corrected it would be a low 14 sec car and a high 13 like yours if i did some weight reduction.

a buddy of mine whos like a jockey ran my car and ran the exact same time.

i got about 20 passes with the same time. 14.6 @ 95, i put some crappier tires on and the times when up to 14.9 @ 92. They are taller 225/75/16, but i got them for a steal and there a good touring tire, i like lonnng drives in the country!

I also run dynotune stuff, Dan is the MAN! I just grabbed an Innovate G2 for my Corrado - got an LC-1 on there, all autometer analog stuff.

If you hook up an lc-1 to the markviii - how does that tie into the sct software and where did you put the bosche wideband 02? did you leave in the stock 02s?

My rado was easy it only has one 02 and that happends to be the same bosche one the LC-1 uses ( i replaced it to have a clean o2).

My SCT chip was tuned on the dyno on and off spray so i didn't factor an lc-1 into the equation for the mark i'm very confident in my tuner: -
