Got my ne DM-100 PLX gauge and boost sensor in today so I downloaded some screens for it and got it set up for install.

This is the boot screen:

And this may be the boost screen I use but I may just go with the digital readout.

So now I have to figure out where to mount it. Opinions please. :)

It would be cool if you could flush mount it somewhere.

4 is the only position you could screw the gauge down. That panel is removable, I wouldnt stick it anywhere that it could damage your dash.

Does the gauge have a gyro for an upside down mount? If so, #3

i would stick it to the top of the dash, as far port as it would go, like view 4 but use the industrial strength velcro, so it would be moveable if you sold it.

Negative on the A-pillar guys. That was the big reason for getting a gauge thats thin and can reaud 32 different sensors. I didnt want to clutter up the car with gauges and wanted to keep it low key.

i think it would look cool if you could mount it from the ceiling right next to the rear view mirror.

Its double sides foam tape

I tried mounting my touchscreen to my dash with 3 different brands of double sided foam tape, tried cleaning the dash with a few different things, nothing I could do would get that bastard to stick to the material.

Anyway, mounting all depends on how you sit in the seat and how tall you are... just mount it where you can see it the best. Oh, but I'd avoid #3, seems like it'll just fall off.

Personally I'd use a shroud like this painted to match the dash.

I wouldnt stick anythign to the dash, over time it'll screw the dash up, but thats just my 2 cents, thats why I'm sticking with 4.
