You must have me confused with someone else. I never said anything about any power adders.
Sorry.

I did say that I had every mod but a supercharger in a thread once. Maybe thats where you got it from. Don, are you running DR on the back of your mark?
If you read the bottom of everyone of his posts he lists his mods.
gen 1 reads off the vss in the transmission. gotta change the gear to correct it.
mid 12's n/a with 3.55's that is a daily driver....come on. ok now I reread your post..if I recall he had one run on drag radials and I believe he said he broke 13 maybe...I don't believe Don is going to lose 4/10's by going to good gripping street radials...
Tiltedhalo said his car ran high 12s on DRs. Dons car runs 12.5 (best run) on DRs. So if Don switched to street tires, I think the two cars would be close. I bet Th's car would maybe even beat Don's if he had 4.10s and a good stall.
I know you hate gen2s but IMO Don's car should run faster than 12.5 with all the mods.
Opinions and ass holes.Once you get into modifying these things, Gen 1 vs Gen 2 doesn't matter. The same mods apply to either gen, so the only difference between the two is the Gen 1 will still look better.![]()
No its not. You have no where near the controll or ability to read what the engine is doing like an OBDII setup. Ive had it on my 92 Mustang and can tell ya its a finicky bitch and dont like MAF. You have to use MAP sensors and thats a bs way of doing things. Not really Anderson Ford makes a PMS. It is better than any hand held odbII tuner out there. I just have to go buy the damn thing.
Wanna cookie? I didnt say it was a total POS as it is lightyears better then just burning a chip but it in now way is as good as an XCal with the proper software. I can say this as I have spent months toying with my PMS and know for a fact it does not have all the controlls, coding and reading that a OBDII setup has.BULLCHIT. I have seen them in a mark and in a 5.0 and they are the chit.

Again, not saying its bad. I am refuting your statement that its as good as or better then any HHT. A PMS just like an XCal is only as good as its tuner. They both offer marginal gains out of the box and better gains when used right. But only one can read each coil to really figure out detonation issues. Only one can read and realy what the cats are doing. Only one can offer full fuel map controll. Only one can use MAF sensors properly. The ease of use is far greater too assuming you know what the parameters mean.PMS yes. The PMS is a very good tuner. It is one of the easiest if not the easiest to use. Like everything in life, it is only as good as the time you invest in it. The problem with most people running the PMS is they buy it than don't want to invest any time in it. The just ask for a "tune". There is no one tune. You have to tune each engine seperately. There are quite a few "startup tunes" on stangtuning.com to get you started
