Mark VIII Craigslist finds!!!

Ha! "1999", 199k, $1900....I could see the uninitiated not catching that. ;)

They say this vehicle is an LSC model, I say it's false advertisement!!!

However as you can tell by the pic and VIN, the car clearly isn't an LSC. So I called the dealership sometime throughout lunch to ask why it was being advertised as such when the discrepancies between a Base and an LSC model can be spotted to the trained eye.

I pointed out the obvious differences to the salesman on the phone who offered to call me back after he'd investigated the questions I presented, but to my dismay he retorted the same deal when he called back.

I say this playfully, but perhaps we should all blow up the dealerships lines with complaints about the vehicle being falsely advertised! :D

Edit: As a matter of fact, I didn't realize till just now that the dealership added the disclaimer banner under the pic. It certainly didn't have it prior to me calling.... Ooops!!

Dealerships don't base prices based on LSC or non LSC. To them, it is what it is, a 16 year old car. There is no price distinction. That price is not bad either way, and it'll be a cash car.

There are so many other cars that are falsely being advertized when it's not true. Like every vehicle is "fully loaded" to them. You just gotta be a smart buyer.

yep. there it is. was a really clean car when i saw it in person. had the hood scoops then too.

Here's one that looks pretty badass!!

Through my phone the color looked grey(gray? whatever...) but on the big monitor it appears like a Forest or Charcoal Green. I actually wouldn't mind adding it to ones I already have and might roll out this weekend to check it out unless someone else beats me to it.

On my phone, it looks like it needs a drivers door, then a paint job. Directly under the mirror looks to be dented enough to pull the lower part of the door out from the fender line

Wow! I must have bad eyesight to not notice that. My boy who does paintless car dent repair also noticed it right away when I asked him to check out the pics.

I suppose today seems like a decent day if any in the Chi to go check it out.

This Collector's Edition looks pretty sweet in the Cordovan. Now perhaps I'm not appreciating this vehicle like one probably would, but I see nothing that warrants 8 stacks for the ride however....

Been posted plenty of times before, the guy will never sell it anywhere near that price.
