Damn now the Mark VIII forum is getting a bit gay ... that's my opinion ... If you want to do go ahead if you need to pat yourselves on the back I know you all have great cars even Martin's ... well except maybe Abe's which is a beat to hell POS ...

Still think we have better things to discuss than who's got the best car for the month ... But if you guys want to ... have fun ... this is a free forum ... we have no real limits on this kind of stuff.

I just see it as a way to get to look at what other have done as far as mods. I don't see the LSOTM poll as being gay at all.

The reason I started it at Stangnet was the 4.6 forum was getting stale. The other thing is there are some really excellent cars there that nobody knows about. After starting it I have gotten tons of ideas for future projects and seen some performance parts I had never seen before.

There is a certain pride when you busted your ass and ate saimein for a couple years to complete your project and you get a positive reccognition from your friends. They will also tell ya what might help it more or if something is excessivly stupid.
 
A nice idea. Make sure the rules are set if there are prizes involved and make sure its fun.

i saw the pics in the for sale thread, looks niiiice

Its actually back out of the garage now but i have to get another air suspension compressor and some ferrules from micah in the next few days, then install the asham8, have it aligned, jmod, trans cooler, fix issue with sniper, hook up my guages, vacuum/wash inside/out, put the cobrastars on, and more.

fix issue with SNIPER??? I can't imagine...well. maybe I can...there are credibility issues with what they say, and what it actually does-

for the $300 I spent, I'd have invested in what Tommy thought might be capable of actually doing what it claimed....but I got caught in the hype, too.

The wheels are a tremendous visual improvement, photos don't even do it justice. (chrome haters, get over it, base models can be classy/flashy at the same time) and I greatly appreciate the deal-but I am still jealous of your pristine front end, the LSC (even if it is a Gen 2:D ) and the many tweaks done (I want to do the 'asham8'-i being able to control the height of the body with a dial/controller, that's cool-

thanks, again, and I really would be into the ATCO Mark swarm-Mike:)
 
This sounds like it could be fun. Lux can tell you my car is not ready for competition. it's nice, but all original.(until this weekend). I'm getting a truck for winter and then maybe i can finally do some more tinkering on the mark.

im in, ill get some pics this weekend, but i dont see a reason for the under hood pic ,its stock and my mods cant be seen.

and rich i wouldnt see it as gay, think of it like a showcase. do we not clean our cars for boscobel. do we not show off our cars/mods

im not looking for a pat on the back, just a little friendlly competition
 
I just feel we have a photo garage .. that's where I get my Ideas ..

But that's my opinion ... I feel the same about most awards .... to me pride comes from inside and being able to look at what you have done and say I did good. If someone else likes it cool but don't really care as long as I feel I did my best....

But hey go at it have fun .... I just only stated my opinion ... nobody has to like it. LOL ... It doesn't need a Mod or and Admin to do it... just nobody better purchase the yellow Mark VIII and then post it in the competition...
