It says they fit a Mark viii, wonder what they'll look like.

I'm waiting for the punch line...

Punch line? How dare you think i'd joke about something like this.

Seeing as how the "kit" doesn't come with mounting hardware, what type of screws should I buy to attach them? Would double sided tape suffice?

& this is where I realized it's definitely a fake thread! You had us going there dude!

Sorry bro..you know what, on second thought I think some sheet metal screws into the bottoms of the rocker panels would hold them nicely!! Make sure they are the non stainless ones though so they get that pretty surface rust on them..mmm sexy..and to top it off..some chrome edge trim around the doors, trunk and hood with some fake fender vents will just make it pop :D

See, and I was thinking about some sweet chrome edge trim around everything (because I have all the stupid, non-chrome LSC stuff) and instead of a hub swap so that I can have Speedstars, I'm gonna go ahead and install some spoke hubcaps. That way, I can just take 'em off to clean 'em. And then I got to thinkin, instead of a new paint job, I'm just gonna buy some of that purple vinyl sticker and wrap the whole car in it. You know, they do it to Lamborghini's n stuff. OH! And the bling icing for the whole neon and the ignition ring.

Where'd you say you got those accessories, sbcabrice? Maybe they come in chrome.

I like em, adds 20hp

And that's just for one side ... 75 hp for the pair ... exponential increase with 2. Could double as a rear spoiler ... LOL ... for 50 more hps ... or would look great on an LS ...

Like a dumb accessory that shouldn't be there.

+1

Heard they give you better traction in the snow, guess i'll find out soon enough.

Only when going up hill

WTF.
I'm thinking I should delete this thread.

If they were on the Bumble Bee Mark VIII

But it's 3M double sided tape, that should make all the difference.

Genius!

Pm Ed Hall, he knows how to attach them

He suggested super glue, I don't want to use super glue.

i think they would be nice to have to scrape the mud off your boots before getting in the car.

I think you weld them on.

Wanna help?

I don't even know you personally caprice but been dealing with you long enough on here to know that you did not spend that much money on those things. I just can't see you doing it. :p

If you did for some reason get them, go to Wal-Mart and get the stick on Velcro with 3M backing. That's how Ed would probably do it and they would help him pull an extra 1200 pounds on his hitch.

Seriously though, the only good I could see those things working for is stopping frozen slush build up from forming right behind the front tire but that's what they would look like anyway, once mounted. I know you're not serious though. Show a link for the original ad when you bought them.... ;)

If you did, use 1/4" hex head 1" long self tapping screws. Keep them waxed up nice and shiny..

I'm surprised people actually thought i'd do this to my car. :(
