well here is the new heart. i spent a few hours removing stuff he didnt need to lighten the load and cleaned her up and got it ready to crate up. i should have it all bundled into a crate this week and get it shipped out. she looks pretty snazzy for an old girl!!

paint the block???? its not a 3fitty in a 69 camaro! raw aluminum looks so much better. i preffer the look of the cobra silver valve covers though, powder coating those wouldnt be a bad idea, i can get a pair done for you bill if you want! thats what i am doing to mine when i build my motor, they will match my eaton.
 
Looks like I spent my money well:D Let's hope Laser takes it a little easier on this one:lol:

i might be able to, i dont think i can get it done for free though, i'll find out tomorrow how much, i have to pick up a spiral staircase from the powder coaters so i'll see what the dick will want lol!

Whenever the old motor comes out, and whatever happens to it, I'd like to buy the old valve covers from whoever they technically belong to... let me know :D
 
Hey Bill, didn't SVO do a set of COP covers for you brushed and cleared? They would look awesome on the black covers as well.
 
I was thinking of having each piece of the valve cover powdercoated a different color and then glue it back together ;)

They will still be mine. I will be selling stuff like that to help pay back the people that helped me in this endevor. So just PM me and we can work something out. :)

Yeah he did but he wanted to redo one of them. Unfortunatly SVO dont talk to me any more. Its a real bummer cause beyond being a great wrench turner he was a really good friend that I enjoyed just hanging out with. I wish I knew what the problem was or what I did wrong to piss him off. :(
 
Seems like maybe SVO has been real busy or something, as he doesn't come on the forums much atm. I'm sure he's not mad atcha. He's avoiding all of us :)
 
I know Tommy was banned twice, but why would SVO ignore Laser off the board for that?
