Headers

good i think i getting this all down pat how do you do that future mods that comes up when you write stuff and the stuff that says what you down the the car

i wish i could get the header and try it out on the dyno and if it dont do anything give them back that would be nice

I think after intake, tune and exhuast at the wheels most get about 240hp-245hp.

And you can feel 30 hp quite a bit.

Intake/exhaust/TB+polish I dyno'd 251whp

A 30hp bump from headers would be outstanding and you would definitely feel it.

+1

the little 7 rwhp gain from the magnaflows I got felt great, I could only imagine 30 rwhp gain!

Sounds like a good deal. I'd skip on the CAI if it's more than $100. Like Fast said you can make your own cold air extension.

Not to thread jack but did you ever put that twin tb on?

:( No, well, kinda, I suppose.. I used that aluminum rod stuff you can get at Harbor Freight to "weld" because I cant weld aluminum and when I went to tighten everything down it all fell apart, still have everything made but I either A) need to find some one to weld it for me, B) learn myself or C) go a different route..

It looked pretty BA sitting in the engine bay tho with the new plenum and CAI.. If my LS wasnt in storage I'd work on it some more but we have quite a bit of snow here and are expecting more so I have no ambition to go dig it out ect..

That's when the work is suppose to be done. :p

That's the fear I have with my SC project.. I don't want to tack it all up and possibly burn a hole in my 400 worth of machined products.. I bet it did look pretty damn awesome though.. Did you have a machine shop make the flanges for the plenum?

Nope, I bought a 1/2 inch TB spacer for the Mustang 4.6 TB and then I bought another plenum off ebay and hacked it all up then had the intake side flange machined from that. If you look in the thread I have it says prices, rather cheap so far.

This wont be a extension tho everything will be changed from the throttle body to the filter out side of the engine bay but you saying it still would not be worth more then a $100 if they change everything

That's a good idea.. I just had my dealings with the machine shop and I would say any way to get out of it would be a good idea.. I'll check it out

yea you know what would be nice well to me ram air
you know like coming out from the throttle body to the front the car with a box and having a lil scoop on the hood that the air has to pass to that i think would like nice a real ram air hood like the old fire-birds and camaros had

Someone had an awesome design that I will replicate when I do mine.. They were reverse scoops about 1/4 way up the hood.. Looked really BA
