Well today I was driving out in East Mesa for any of you who know the Phoenix area and saw another convertible Mark VIII. Now to even get more detailed I was driving down Recker Rd when I pulled up next to this guy. I tried to get his attention but he was a complete pill and would not even look at me. But then again when you look at the pics you might understand why he did not want to look at me with the condition of his Mark. And when you look at the last pic you too would be a complete pill if you had to drive with your top down without air (I'm assuming that) and the temp what it was.

Well the paint was faded really bad and it looked like someone spray painted the emblems on the back of the car gold plus when I looked inside the car at the stop light you could see the top was all tore up. Then I saw the grille when I passed him and it was painted the same color as the body and it looked like some how it was pushed in.

i agree with chris, the roof isnt tore up, thats a vinyl cover over the hacked off roof, there is no roof on that car its just plain cut off, look at the pic from the pass side again the vinyl is in the middle of a lift up from wind, you can see where the rear pillar has just been hacked off!

All,

Door post is cut off even with top of mirror , not at top of windshield post !

Good Luck,
Sonny

*prays for a surprise, torrential rain storm*

He had a bluetooth headset on, which 90% of the time indicates massive douchebaggery.

I agree with that... No one is important enough to have one on all the time. I have one but only use it when I need my hands free(like driving or typing) then take it off as soon as Im done so I dont look like a douchebaggery.

You're assuming the air is broken? Because I drive topless all the time with the air blasting in the summer... and when it is cold - top down - heat blasting.

The HVAC buttons still work with the top down :)

However - no convertible top in that car - I agree - there isn't even a 'boot' to store it in.

I got to say I have done that with the windows down but when its over 100 it really does no good.
