what are the odds of getting a busted clockspring on the salvage yard? do owners care if their clockspring is bad and replace it soon? trying to figure out if extracting the clockspring is worth the effort or just a waste of time. I know this is a common issue among 1st gen.

The instructions for removing the rear bolster is to remove the bolt under the bolster and switch the latch to release and pull. I can't seem to find this latch. Anybody done this before?

Anybody got the same issue on the stock radio? My CD changer is already busted and just relied on radio. Am I better off replacing it or it might be a loose/cut/open antenna issue.

Do you know where can i purchase a 2002 clockspring? Im not sure if mine was broken due to age or previous owner/mechanic messed it up. Also how would you know that the smartsense was really installed in the car? It rained and it didnt work (it was switched to auto) I suspect this was replaced...
