I have a problem with my LS leaking coolant on top of the tranny near the firewall. Water drips down the side of the tranny. I live up hill. Any suggestions?
I have a problem with coolant leak. Behind the intake by the firewall that drips on top of my tranny and runs down the side of it. I park up hill, haven't been able to locate the leak. Any suggestions? Leak is intermittent.
Got home today... After 1 1/2hrs of driving saw drips on the ground near the location of the Degas bottle... Probably has a crack somewhere underneath it... Thanks for all the input...
Ratio more antifreeze over water? My next step is changing the Degas bottle. Its losing coolant some where no leaks... Evaporation maybe due to the boiling in the tank? Or the tank not holding pressure.... I'll go with the Degas bottle first... All my plastic parts have been replaced including...
Your right it may not be that... But can't figure out where the coolant is going no leaks on the grown. After a period of driving coolant starts boiling. The system has no air in it...

I don't know if I'm having the same issue here, mine doesn't get cold on the driver side... But passenger side trys to get cold but I think it's because the driver side won't get cold? Does this valve effect that also???
