I need to pick up a new fob. I have a 04 v6. Will go by the dealer tomorrow to see if it's outrageous. If it is will get one from fleabay and try to program it myself. Thanks

So I lost my key fob and was wondering if I get a new one and have it programmed does that make the old/lost one unusable? I'm to lazy to keep using the keys to lock and unlock lol. Or any other suggestions?

Is there a way to test the window reg. motors? I need to both front window regulators and noticed a lot don't come with the motors. I'm assuming I can just reuse the old ones? Any input is appreciated.

Now that you mention it yes it does jerk in reverse. I'll put it in reverse and it will take a few seconds then finally go into reverse with a jerk. Is this something that someone with average mechanic skills can replace? Do I have to open up the tranny for this?

So my 04 LS V6 has started acting a little strange. When its shifting into first it shifts quick and hard I guess I would call it. It makes a clunking sound. Then when the rpm's are at about 2-3k they will drop slightly then pick back up. Seems to only happen when shifting into 1st as I haven't...

Haven't checked out the pvc yet or the MAF but I did replace an o2 sensor. It seemed to have cleared up for a few days but now the shake is back. Just kind of waiting on some nicer weather. I have only been running 93 since owning it

What a pain the metal frame was to get out. I'm hoping when I get it back on its just as nice lol. For anyone interested it turns out it was one of the white clips on the regulator.

I appreciate the info guys. Wish i checked hear first for other things to change while the coils were done. I haven't checked out the MAF myself yet but will have to look into it. And I guess I can start with the pcv also. I will post what I find out.
