I don't know man. I am (was :/) 6' 3" 330lbs. I don't think I'll be able to get in and out of the Mark since it sits so low. I also have a Tahoe so once I can get around better I'm gonna send it to get controls installed and I might be able to use that. Its really too soon for me to think about...
Still kind of hard to talk about. I was under my 96 welding some brace bars to the new exhaust. I was outside under it on a creeper. We rent UHauls at my shop too. Somebody that had just picked one up was backing it up to turn around. I saw them coming but couldn't move fast enough and he ran...
I've been away from LVC for a little while and I just logged on and saw that both LaserSVT and Nolimit have had some pretty bad luck lately. Guys I'm sorry for your losses and I'm very glad you both are okay. I had an accident of my own at work and will not be able to drive anymore.
Because...
Yet again CFC ruins a perfectly good vehicle. You figure that's one perfectly good Mark blown up so somebody could buy a KIA. Then the collateral damage is ANOTHER 1996 Mark that one could have been saved by that very rare VCRM. Sorry went off on a rant there LOL
This is from post #18 in that thread:
"i used plastic from the ear i cut off to fill the holes, used epoxy to hold it in place then i used dynadelight filler over it. very little. its sold sorry forgot to update"
Sorry for the lousy cut and paste job lol. I still haven't figured out how to...
What type of device did you use to get these codes? And how did you get these descriptions? Not only does the numerical value match the OBDII format the code description don't match anything either.
Good score! There is some really cool stuff out there about our cars. I'll have to check thru my dads stuff and see what's there. He bought a 93 brand new about 3 months before he passed away. He loved that car and had every possible brochure and leaflet the dealer had for it. That's what...
I called State Farm this morning and I do have free glass replacement :D They are going to set it up and have the glass place call me. I'll let you guys know what the cash price ould have been when they call me. I agree though that whatever it is would be worth it just to have the new seal ;)
I have 3 VCRM's for the 96 and a PCM (also one year only):D I go to several u pull it scrap yards on a regular basis. I knew about the VCRM's and started stock piling them everythime I see a 96. I figure for the $20 they charge I'll buy everyone I find that way if i ever need it at least one...
Does it have the Diamond Anniversary etching on it? That's the one I'm almost sure I would never be able to find. I honestly worries me now that one might break and I won't be able to replace it. I've even considered replacing them and keeping the etched ones on hand so they never get...
Yeah I'm pretty sure you are right. IIRC one was a pen and the other was a mechanical pencil. Id like to have one of those sets too. But what I really want is one of the Waterford crystal plaques the original Diamond Anniversary purchasers got!
Yeah it will be nice to have the new seal too. Maybe the 95 needs to have an unfortunate accident too! LOL J/K When I call Safelite I'm gonna ask about those quarter windows too cause I'm curious now
That sounds reasonable. At least now I won't have that high speed whistle from the seal anymore! The seal was still in good shape as far as appearance but it whistled around the upper right corner at highway speeds.
Holy @#$%! It doesn't even have an antenna built into it or anything other than the rear defrost. Wow. That's crazy! That's okay though cause my State Farm has no deductible on glass :D I just wanted to be armed with correct info before they tried to BS me. I'm just glad it wasn't one of my...
Do they still make the rear window for our cars or do I have to go used? All of this lovely snow we got broke one of my gutters loose and it shattered the rear window in my 96!
