Last weekend we took the Blue Flame to the 2011 SuperCoupe shootout in Xenia, OH. From the car show to the drag races, it was great to have the car back in action.

Here's a few pics of the experience...

Heading out...

God damn that car look better than ever JP! And from the sound of it, it runs better than ever too. It's awesome to see her back in action!

Spec-freakin-tacular! So great to see her back and in action. Kudos for reviving her. :)

What did it run, and do you have any pics of the rebuild of the car... sorry I haven't been on here much since it was in the wreck.

Anyone surprised with your times
Cause they probably saw it was n/a

LOL... let's just say a couple people were wondering where the NOS bottle was. :shifty:

Started out with a 12.97 @ 103 on the first pass with a soft launch. Followed up with three solid 13.0's in time trials (with tire spin?). Later in the afternoon in eliminations it ran a 12.91 @ 100.9 while lifting at the end and then a 12.908 @ 102.88 while on the brakes (and still broke out)! :gr_devil:

Track conditions were OK early on but worsened throughout the day. DA was around 2600 feet.

Sixty foot times were pretty consistent 1.7x's. Considering last year at this venue I was dialing a 13.6 in much cooler weather, I am satisfied with the early numbers from the new setup. :D

She's beautiful JP! Cant wait to go for a ride in that amazing beast of a mark viii.

hey just curious, who do you talk to at fox lake? I know a guy that works there that has an awesome fox, his dad was my dad's best man....

All the planets are in line again!!!!! I had no doubt you would have her back on the road in no time!!!! She is looking better than ever!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
