had this problem last summer, then it went away, came back for about 3 week in the winter and is back full time now. it drives me insane! anyone have a fix for this?

i just wanted to thank you for this write-up. this happened to me today on the rear window.. so i'll be doing this myself . the cables are off the racks on mine aswell and i wasn't sure if it was repairable.

i'm kinda young (23) and people often question how i can afford such a car. i find that odd since i'm not 16 but that's exactly the line i use and they shut up. i'm exposed to a lot of german cars and compared to them the LS does not stand up. next car is german or jap.

haha.. you guys are so insecure - "even if he won he's still driving a hyundai" how often does the LS break down and how often did my old hyundai break down? hyundai > any ford product.

let me get this straight.. b/c the driver did not race that means he respects the LSE? so when i refuse to race a civic in midday traffic that means i respect the civic? nice logic there. btw, the MB wins in every aspect.

i think both sites have their respective niche and each fills it well. what i fail to understand is if you own an LS why are you crying about 35$/year fee? not to sound like a jerk but i bet each of you spends more on coffee each week.
