Correction...

Maximum torque multiplication is basically at initial launch. Torque multiplication occurs when the input rpm is greater than the output rpm. As the converter output speed approaches the input speed, torque multiplication falls off proportionally. (It actually never achieves a 1:1 ratio - without lockup it is after all a fluid coupling.)

I'm just tired of how people tip toe around jamie when hes an ass but if anyone speeks up about it comes to how valuable he is. He is not the only person on here with knowledge on mark viii's.
 
By hiding, I mean that if you are not standing in front of someone, it's real easy to talk chit. And from what I see you are the one being an ass toward him and it's not the first time. You come off like a jealous school girl with sand in your vagina. If he wants to come on here and vent or cry or whatever, I think he has earned the right to do so. If I thought he was a dick, I would let him know trust me. I walk on eggshells around no one.

Looks like fun. I hope to take mine out with a camera some day just to play. Looks like some more tuning would make that mid13's -low13's. Good luck. I have a few projects this winter also.

Thanks Don. And good luck with your projects. ;) Mine will be some fun (smaller crank pulley, throttle body, and a dyno tune) mixed with some not so fun (front end rebuild and new bags). I told my parent's that I want a gift card to rockauto.com for Christmas. I told them that is all I want. Don't give me anything else. :p I gotta start getting the suspension back in order again.
 
I said it before I have known Kirk on another forum long before he came to lvc and he knew I was playing with him, you see he didn't get mad at what I said. Before you know what's going on just keep your mouth shut. I didn't say anything to you it was to Kirk. Apparently we all have reading problems cause jamie gave Kirk some :q:q:q:q then I give him some :q:q:q:q and he gets all bent out of shape like I said before he can dish it out but he can't take it
Also I have nothing to be jealous of if there was something I'm not sure what it would be.

when you hook up a trans cooler, what happens to the tranny lines going to the radiator? you use those or have to run all new lines?and what would you think the stock stall is on a 98?

Don't waste money on a throttle body. Save that money for a solid drive shaft or something else.

I already have the 4" Dynotech shaft in the car. An underdrive pulley set would be my next choice but I need to figure out the charging and cooling system issues.
