does anybody know what the factory top speed is set at in a 98 lsc, andhow to get rid of it?
Ehhh idk about the stck lscs being gearing limited. My lsc drops into 4th at around 105-110ish and has enough rpms to go i think 140+speed limit is lower on LSCs because of gearing.
its not actually a "speed" limiter per say. its a driveline rotational speed limiter.
lower gears (higher numerically) have a lower speed at the same rotational limit.
like with my 4.10s the limit puts my top speed at 100 ish.
the top speed limiter i believe only kicks in in od,right?

I had my old 94 at 165.
Not something I ever choose to do again. The mark isn't exactly the most Aerodynamicaly stable design on the planet.
It gets a bit to light in the nose.
Top speed on any car is the speed rating on the tires..
but did you do anything to let it go that high or it just did?
my 93 hit the limit at 130.
with both the w3z3 and w3z2 computers.
