Anyone else keeping there MK8 FOREVER?

Well it is a pretty complicated code. On the door tag there is a space for "MFG DATE" and that means manufacturing date. Then there are four numbers and this is where it gets complicated. If the number says "01/12" that means it was made in the first month of the year, January, and on the 12th day of that month.

:D

FAIL! :eek:

I plan on having this one or a better one forever, I'm hooked

I will never be getting rid of my Mark VIII. My friends on this site made my dream come true when they presented me with my Mark VIII at the Beach Party last year. :cool:

i am the original owner

i bought my 96 LSC for my girlfriend June 96.she drove it till she died in 06 i actually got it back in 08 and has been my daily companion ever since. i can rember her face when she realized the keys were for the mark VIII not the mustang i sent her to test drive. she said i treated her like a queen so she always called the car princess. Anyone else an original. owner?

I saw that thread, and it was good to see people pulling together for a great cause. I hope you have that for a long time to come.

I have never loved a car as much as I love my '94! I have over $33 grand in it as it stands and I'm buying new leather for the front seats tomorrow. It's like no other car on the road!

I'm glad someone else realized the problem with Laser's statement...not just me.

"01/12" would mean that the car was built January of 2012!!

:shifty::rolleyes:

For as much as I've got in this thing no one will pay me for what I want. So I'll keep it forever I guess.

I know I'm not as bad into it as you and I still could not get my money back on mine, and I only paid $439 for mine!! Before mod money. LOL

Well ... My First 93 purchased in 2004 is history, My second Mark VIII, my 94, purchased in 2005 sold a month later purchased back a year later ... Still in the driveway. My 3rd my 95 purchase a month after I sold my 94 had until I gave it to my son in 2009 then sold to LVC for the Pepperman's Car ... Enjoy Pepps.

But my current 93 purchase in 2010 will be my Mark until I need another one ... but I'm guessing my 94 will go the way of parts and then another Mark VIII. With my 93 remaining my classic. At least that's the plan so far.

I always say I'm going to sell my 93 but I never do! I just installed a new set of LSC headlamps! Now I'm in love with my 93 all over again! So no! My 93 is a keeper! So is my CE! As for the 97? That one will possibly be for sale in a month or so!

Good to hear it. The HID housings were the one thing you needed to have that 93 looking great. And almost a twin of my 93.
