Back in the game. My LSE thread

Do I debadge it? I already have the dealer sticker off. But I'm thinking about at least removing the Lincoln badge. And then I figured just having a badge on one side of the car might bother me?

Personal preference, but I say no. Debadged looks "naked" to me.
 
debadged looks naked the on gen I's they look better debadged because the emblems cover up the taillights.

For a gen I i think it looks better debadged.

gen II looks better with badges because the rear tailights arent as wide and so the badges are actually on the trunk:

I think I'll mess around with placement for now. Move both the badges down further closer to the bumper.
 
I'm leaving the badges. Just reducing the gap between the badges and the bumper. N I'm pretty confident when these tails are purchased they wouldn't come with badging anyways right?

Maybe black badges? I could order new Lincoln LSE badges and paint the old ones a very nice black and put them back on? Might look pretty sweet
 
they should come with badges when you order the tails new
 
Oh alright well I'll be keeping the badges for now.

Just guaranteed my car will be looking better this summer. Ordered Eibachs for $280 shipped. Won't have them installed til its warmer out though
 
No no no, don't paint them! Plasti Dip them! Google it, you'll see what I mean. It's great.
 
I'll actually use Semi-Gloss dupli-color black. Its what I've used on my rims in the past with no clear coat and have had nothing but excellent outcomes. Besides I've still got 2-3 cans left over from my order.

I agree, I think Gen2 looks fine badged but debadged for Gen1. I really don't get into badges on taillights on any vehicle.
 
Yeah I took the badges off today. I'm repositioning them closer to the bumper and tossing he idea around of black or "black chrome" effect on the badges.

My windows were tinted by Sunbusters off Good hope and Tuetonia in Milwaukee. Can't disclose the price but its the 7th vehicle he's done for me in the past 4 years so I get a good price. He uses a true Lumaar tint which helps, doesn't restrict any frequencies for the radio or cell phones.
