It is a bad motor, debating between parting and fixing.

What should I do?

Just do a bikini car wash!:D Glad you are getting your car back on the road, still gives me hope for mine! And I'd hate to see a nice car like that be parted.

Well if it were not for LVC then I prolly wouldnt bother fixing it. Then again if it were not for LVC then it prolly wouldnt have a blower as well!

Now all we gotta do is something something Arizona to Texas something something

If only you knew what I have done to mine to get it close to roadworthy, you would think a motor swap is a breeze! If it wasn't for this site and all the clean marks I'd have given up a longtime ago. Anyway good luck with the swap.

Well I wont spill brake fluid on me if I can help it. :p

So I guess I have Jamies engine. As soon as he lets me know shipping and wood costs I will send him the cash. Just was about to order an engine stand for $50 and am trying to source an engine hoist now. I can rent one for $100 but its only 1 ton and its gonna run me about $80 in fuel to get it then return it..... plus it aint strong enough. I found a 2-ton I could buy for just over $200 and its new. I will prolly do that since I can resell it when I am done.

I am also ordering new gaskets too. I figure I will put my brand new tensioners and reluctor ring in since I have new ones and new timing gaskets. Waiting on Jamie to let me know if the spark plugs have oil on them so I know if I need new VC gaskets too. Hes at a JY looking at a vert right now so hes a tad busy. :p

Harbor freight has the stand for $35 and the hoists for around $145. You can get 20% off with their magazine coupon. When I get the Paypal info I will pay for the engine.

Magazine coupon? What magazine? I will check them now for stands and hoist. Thanks.

part out the car, i want your brakes and all your trim:p:D seriously though, let me know if you decide to part it out

The stand is 40 and the hoist is 180. For some reason though my grandmother don't wanna loan me yhe truck to go to Waco to buy them. The coupon won't work on them anyway apparently.

Im selling my Mark just a thought I guess all it needs is an oil pan and guess what I have a brand new oil pan to go with it. All together 3,200 or best offer.

marked, you saved me yet again. Found the HF with the stand and hoist in stock and if I have Jeremy buy the stand and I buy the hoist then I can use a 20% off on each part and get both for under $200. :) After its all done I can sell the hoist for $150 I bet. Although a 2-ton foldable hoist may be a nice thing to keep since I will need it again after I rebuild the stock motor next year. Meh, we will see. I am almost there now. Gotta work on some more stuff to get the oil, gaskets and various other incedintals and also pay Jamie for shipping but its getting there.

Couldnt have done it without you guys and I cant thank you all enough.

I wanna make a special thanks to Jamie for the motor, marked8 for helping get the motor, LSCHUNTER and Stangman for their monetary help in getting it shipped and to get the needed stuff to get it installed. I should be able to cover the rest sometime next month and if not then, then September I should be able to finnish it up. Gonna suck to be without a car till then but at least I know I will have one soon and she will be a bad ass again.
Thank you guys, you all are some very great friends!!!

A very very big thanks needs to go to my best friend, Jeremy. He has really stepped up to help offering his labor on his days off. I am gonna need him too! Thanks buddy, wish I could come out and help you with your blown altenator today. :(

I just sold off my spare engine i got from Nolimit95,4.6 engine stand, rolling engine stand and new 1 ton hoist last month for 350.00. If only this happened last month i could have sold you everything you would have needed and delivered it to you for 350.00 and the gas to get there. Ive been wanting to go visit my brother in Texas for years now.

Well lets see, that will be around $160 in gas plus about what, 1200 miles of driving on the truck by the time I return it...... plus I need the stand now. Yeah, cheaper to buy them. Thanks though, I appreciate the offer of help. Everyones offer of help. If its something I can use I am taking people up on it.

You said the car was gone though? I thought you were gonna pull the EVAP cans and sell them to me? :(

Meet half way or we could have a meet at laser place.
