I guess I can understand not liking the looks of a Gen 1 because I hate the looks of a Gen 2. We all have our likes and dislikes, although there are a few Gen 2's on here that I like the looks of but it took modifications, which means cash to make me like the looks.
I guess maybe, part your car out after you find another Gen 2 to recover the money spent on the next car. If I lived close enough, I'd come down there and buy the 93 from Jamie. I'm not going to fly for another one right now because I really don't need one. I just bought a 99 GMC Sanoma extended cab so I'm kinda tight on spending right now. I just wanted a little truck to play with.
Anyway, it's all about what you like and if the Gen 1 just doesn't grab your attention, then you shouldn't do the swap or do the swap until you find the Gen 2 that you do like. Not sure what the problems are with his 93 but when I was down there, it sounded mean when I drove behind it and the problems may be easily fixable where yours aren't. Put the Octi's on it and drive it till you find the silver Gen 2 you want.
