I (accidently of course) was over on the LS pages and in a back and forth conversation those guys were referring to MARK GUYS as warmed over T-BIRD and COUGAR OLD GUYS. I responded and was told to get back where I belong. All I said was I see an LS at every RED LIGHT and MARK's ARE HEADTURNERS.

thats cause deep down they are jealous of our cars and cant admit they
made a mistake when the bought the LS over a mark
 
Well it's simple ... as stated by an LS guy who moved to the Mark VIII forum because he's tired of all the pissing the LS guys do over nothing ... and that the Mark VIII threads at least discuss the cars and their performance not what wheels you have or how's your Nav system running ...

Also the LS crowd are a bunch of suites who can't get their fingers dirty ... they take their cars to the Dealership or worry that their warranty is running out ...

LS nice car for a DD but do you really want to take it to a car show to show off the mods you have added ...

Not all of us think the LS is the best car in the world, but it is the car we happen to own.

I appreciate the nice work some have done on the Mk8, and thats why I come over to check the Mk8 section. Tools like you MOJO really are trolls.

Its good MOJO that Mespock, Kustkid, 93blue, jamie97, fossten, and all the others you listed agree with you

the best thing i have found is stay away from :q:q:q:q that doesnt include me, i dont own a cadillac, i dont own an LS, i dont go in forums that dont mean anything to me. why go looking for an internet fight? thats why i stay out of the politic's too, it doesnt mean anything to me in life, i dont care what the LS guys say about us or the mark VIII, its a :q:q:q:qing car man, does it really hurt you that bad to have your car insulted lol, god dam there is some much more important :q:q:q:q going on around the planet and we're worried about what other people say in another section of this website lol????????????? wow i am glad i am busy with my personal life so i miss alot of this crap on here.

i click the "new posts" button and often find myself in the LS forum...or worse the political forum..lolz i shouldnt do that..

Jamie, find a big box and put some damn carpet in it and send that :q:q:q:q. If you get it here by Tuesday, I'll make a video of me pissing on an LS. One of the billion I see around here in Madison, AL.

Would I have one? Yes, I suppose but would I buy one? No. Does the LS snatch my eye when one rolls by? No.

I don't miss a Mark of any year when it rolls by and if I see one setting, I take pics but that's the problem, I never see any or I can never catch one setting still.

I'm going to go smoke a Marlboro 100 on the porch and see if an LS drives by.

Being a "staff member", you really should be more aware of your members and show a little more restraint in bashing others. Not all "suites", or rather SUITS, which I could be considered are afraid to get dirty.

How people - who drive the same f*cking brand car - can sit there like a bunch of retarded teenagers and bash one another is beyond me. Seriously now, are you people just out of high school or what? Who gives a f*ck what someone drives as long as they're an actively contributing member of this site? Notice I said "contributing". PetesSweetsBeatsHisMeat does not count. He contributes nothing but "this user is on your ignore list" thread markers.

I'm sure I'll hear some lame 7th grade remark about me driving a Chrysler which, as I have done before, I'll laugh at the screen. If you don't want to start sh*t in a forum for a car you don't own, don't go in it like Jamie stated. Doing so just proves your ignorance and your willingness to be a non-contributing member, a.k.a. troll. Plain and simple. Only reason I'm here is because I like checking out KK's thread, Laser's thread, pics of Jamie's car, etc.

So MOJOMAN - what exactly do the Taurus and LS share that makes them so similar? Four doors? No longer made my FLM? I'd really like to hear this one.

Remember, I've had both cars and partial to neither. It's just a car for f*ck sakes. Something for YOU to enjoy, not to make other people happy with. Don't like it? Don't look.
 
I like both the LS and MK8....I drool over Jamie's and Laser's cars every day. I also like looking at KK's progress thread of Stacks car. NYC they still make a Taurus, it was only gone for a few years when the Ford 500 was around.
 
bah i wouldnt read too much on MOJO some days it seems like he is on another planet or something. im on the fence on the ls, some look ok i just dont care for 4 door cars, so to each their own
 
Both cars are what they are. Personally, I think 2nd gen marks are pretty damn sexy when in decent condition. I would definitely own one but there's never any around me that are either: a. in decent condition or b. not majorly overpriced for what they are. 1st gen marks aren't really my thing. I would drive one as a beater but as my pride and joy? Hell no. On the other hand I'm pretty picky with my LSes as well. I think the non-sports are pretty damn ugly, especially with the 16" wheels, and I really don't like the V6 LS other than the 5 speed. Again, would I own one? Yeah, but strictly as a beater. I mean seriously if you're that sensitive about your damn car maybe you shouldn't go around looking to pick fights. You remind me of my brother always talking $hit because I drive "pos" Fords, and because I like to tear apart every single car I own. Yet if I dare bring up the fact that his Chevy breaks more often than any of my Fords he gets his panties up in a bunch.
 
I'm glad most of you have noticed the ignorance in this! These are cars, material & unless you are 16 years old, you really need to grow up! No one will force me to like an LS because I happen not to like them just like I don't expect everyone to like our Mark VIII's. Most of you know plenty here on the Mark VIII forum have bashed LS's before & even called them Galants & such... we all have our own opinions & we own vehicles based on our taste for them. Let them say what they want to say, I don't care... I for one owned 5 T-Birds & I'm well aware they were built on the same foundation so if we are "just a bunch of WARMED OVER T-BIRD OLD GUYS" then I guess we are. I LOVE MY MARK VIII just like I'm sure they LOVE their LS's & for some on this site, they happen to own BOTH cars & enjoy both of them in diferrent ways! In the end, guess what?!?!?!?

If we wanna play that game... and they say an LS is better than a Mark... atleast a mustang is better than an LS... But... I'm biased :)
 
So we drive T-Birds and they drive Galants... WGAF, no reason for any of us to get butthurt over it.
 
Haha i like the argument even though its totally irrelevant. I have an unbiased opinion since i have owned both cars. I had a 2000 LS sport that i traded for a 98 LSC. I liked the LS because it was a little more peppy and nimble and just felt newer. The mark is sweet and comfier and i love the interior and the fact its a coupe. Both cars are great but different in their own respects.
We both drive tbirds too! The ls is the new tbird/jag stype platform while the mark 8 is the older one. SO WHAT?!?

T-bird was an upgraded LS. :D
