I cant believe nobody knew about this auction. I've been watching it for seven days. I was thinking someone was going to use the Buy It Now for $365. I came very close to doing it myself, but I resisted. I was at dinner tonight watching it as the time went down, and nobody bidded but me. $399 shipped.

nice score...how will that +24 offset translate? factory on the 7'' rims is +39
 
15mm =1.5cm=15/16'' vs stock..plus a 9'' vs 7'' rim width; 18'' vs 17'' dia...= big
 
Hopefully they are the correct bolt pattern because that guy has no f*cking clue what he's talking about in the description.."fits 1980-2005 Thunderbirds and 89-96 cougars" Id love to see you try and jam a 5 lug wheel on a 4 lug hub..also 89-96 cougars..why not 97?
 
Maybe it's me but it looks like they are in need of another gloss black paint job. Am I not seeing flaking? They were a good price but I don't think they're new "black" wheels. New chrome painted black?

Well at least he won't have any clearance issues with the front spindles like most people do with the 36mm offset..thats for sure.

Chris what is the offset on your 03/04 cobras? Thought I remember you saying they were also 24mm?
 
yes. 24, 26, something like that. i bump the fender on big bumps.
but! the 17s i have are running shorter than stock tires. so that helps me a little too.

Oh yea that's true, he's gonna need some very narrow tires for these rims, 245s with a very narrow sidewall. My dunlops are 245s but they have a wider cross section than the crappy ventus 245s that were on the rims when I got them.
