IMO... On an ls they would look...ok. I think they would make a mark look...cheap? eh I guess I'd have to see them on first.
I just don't think they would flow with the mark body.

I'm in Alabama and we really don't do wheel swaps for winter. I think the car color is going to be a factor. They might look better on white or look better on a darker color, idk... I would like to see them on but that is a good deal on them and 15 min from me.
 
Hell, if they're in good shape, buy them, if you don't like them on the car then just sell. I wouldn't think you'd have a problem getting your money back. You'd probably be able to make some $$
 
Id rather save money and get the saleens.

Theyre doable on an LS though.
 
If they throw a jag hood ornament in I am all about it.:shifty:

I didn't know they sold jags in alabama? is it a prototype pickup truck?
 
Man, I dont know. They are good looking wheels though. Id have to see them on a Mark though before I pass judgement. I agree that color will prolly be the make or break opinion.

That's what I'm thinking. I wished they had more of a lip on them but for that price, kinda hard to pass up but like mentioned up above, they could always bring back the money if they don't look good.

Yes Chris, that includes the tires too. They just look iffy for a Mark and more for the LS.
 
Well, I just sent him an offer for a trade. Told him I'd give him a 2 or 3 ton engine hoist, 4 new 13" tires that are mounted on stock Mitsubishi Mirage wheels and a never used JL Audio 10" sub, mounted in a Pro Wedge truck box. Awaiting an answer.

I'm not spending money just to see what they look like but I will trade off stuff I don't need setting around here.
 
That was quick lol, he took the offer and said he could use the stuff I had more than he could use those wheels and tires. Guess I'll have them by tomorrow. Never hurts to ask...
 
That was a shot in the dark that paid off! Good find and deal. I want to see these on a mark can't wait. Talking about LS's I just put the summer LSE 17's back on LS and was thinking hmmm these might look good on mk8 too.
 
I think the Volvo rims work on our cars as well...i think it is going to look really sharp....only if you had the jag ornament at least as a key ring...

He just got back with me and said he would get them over here tomorrow or Thursday. He says they are in excellent condition and the reason for getting them was because he was going to get an LS or Mark but never did. It'll be a change of looks I guess but it's not really costing me anything of real value.

rat, I don't think he has the key ring for the Jag :p

When I get them on, I'll throw some pics up and we'll see what they're all about. I never thought he would take the deal but glad he did. I been wanting that engine hoist out of my back yard for a while now.

do you think the LS guys will welcome you into their tea party now that you have british parts on your car? i still think the jag ornament is a must.

You're speedo will read 1.4% to fast. When you're speedo reads 60mph you'll actually be going 59.1.

If that's the case, I can live with that. I just have this one state trooper that loves pulling me over on HWY 65, when I do go that way. 1 mph isn't enough to even worry with.

damn it rat, I'll have the Jag center caps lol. Will that work? I'm glad they're small and won't really be seen.
