Some small details that make huge differences. After the shiny new walnut shift knob the ashtray and heated seat control walnut trim items were showing dullness ageing / scratches and not as vibrant. Took them off, wet sanded with 600, shot 5 heavy coats of clear, let dry two days, wet sanded with soapy warm water using 1000 then 2000 grit, and then a good hand polish with compound. Perfect match now. Wish I had taken some before pics.

Any suggestions on the type of clear? Will 2k work? Duplicolor?

Well today I went back to the pick and pull, this poor 02 V6 is looking fairly violated now , pulled all struts/springs...look like OEM . And also I noticed this one has these subframe connectors? Was this a late 1st gen thing? As mine does not have em (well it does now ) also grabbed a bunch of other bits and bobbles...still having the damn inertia switch code showing up in forescan tho..so grabbed the rear body module...idk if they are plug and play swappable..any one want to chime in?

General "The Works" service at the local dealer last Thursday. Ordered new Motorcraft Coils & Plugs last night, shipped today, should be here Monday, will likely install next weekend.

I got the LS back on the road after sitting for about a year in my driveway.

Threw in some Mobil1 5w20, new coils, new plugs, new PCV valve and have new o2's to put in if I can borrow a lift for an hour when all this shit blows over, also installed my Diode Dynamic LED's low-beams, just waiting on my LED fog lights and housing and looking at using my buddies 3D printer to somewhat make a bracket so I can mount them on my 06 bumper.

I notice I keep getting water in the driver side front door so I'm assuming the weather stripping is shot which is unfortunate.

Pick n pull...lucky find
No Lincoln LSes in the pick and pull yards in my area ...if you ever go back to to get something again... If it's not to much trouble do you think you could grab up the white plastic lock washers that the interior door panel plastic clips lock into ...Some are easy to take off but some are a real PITA...busted quite a few trying to take them out the other day...don't think there available anymore ...

Check if your drain tube is blocked up first...could be plugged...pressurized air could blow the blockage out maybe

And I pulled the lip off an 03 mustang. There fairly common. Bet you got a half dozen in a pick n pull near you...I was just lucky another mustang guy didn't grab it first
