well.... i need my music! radio help?

thats what i was thinking but i dont know g1's very well..Nor do i care to search it.
 
well the thing is that the out side bezzle wont fit the front trim piece in that kit. you could use the cage from that kit. but ill just use L brackets

Gman said he used that kit and iirc used the trim piece as well. Hmmm, maybe he used one that came w/ his dd if it came w/ one..idk
 
lol, calm down. radio install is this weekend. i cant control how fast the radio ships to my house LOL.

Im going to get the 3200dvd in acouple weeks here. I'll pay close attention to this thread..I want pic's.
 
ok. it should be a quick and easy install. im going to teach a friend how to install radio's when i do this. so ill have another set of hands to take photos :D
 
Yeah im not to worried about the install as i've done alot of hard ones. I'm more concerned about the fit in the opening looking good.
 
Doesn't look too bad and it appears it will also change colors to green. Might not be an exact green match but it should look good once installed.

The iPOD connection is something you'll like. I just ran my USB wire into the console yesterday. Connected my iPOD Touch and I don't think I'll ever put another CD in. The sound is just as good or better than any CD I have put in. Nothing like getting in the car with thousands of songs sitting inside your console and never having to even touch it. Maybe when you want to update it and add more but other than that, it's nice to have but my USB wire is built in and comes out the back side so that the wire is completely hidden.

Also, don't take my last post as me comparing my stereo to yours. You can connect a back up camera and slide in a memory card and other things where I can't. I was just saying that they should have put the USB cable in the back so that there wouldn't be a cable sticking out the front and letting people that walk by look in and see what might be attached to it and cause a break in.
 
Thats why i'll be useing a sd card w/mine..I was thinking about a used 4300dvd w/ the full 7" and a usb in back. I'd just rather have new.
 
the onlything about the 4300 that i dont like is the motorized front. i hate that. just my opinion. but the you can fit a 32 Gig SD card in there. so i dont have to worry about even leaving my ipod in the car. so i wont use the USB port.

also you can custom make a color for the front lights. so it will match
 
hey guys the radio install is going to have to be delayed.

today, my best friend was walking with a group of people to starbucks right after school, and was hit by a minivan. so im spending a good portion of time with him. Oh, and i finally hit the top speed on my mk. (cop gave me a police escort) he didnt like it when i passed him at 135 LOL.

Sorry guys, but this is important.
