Hey guys,
I have been trying to decide how I am going to add some color to my car for a little while now. I had thought about painting the top of my car black, but I would rather own an all black car, than a car that is half black. So I decided that I was going to try to paint it on the bottom half. Below are where I masked just to help my mind's eye try to imagine what it will look like painted.

I need opinions on paint color and how this might look. I was considering gloss black, but it may show stone chips and road dirt a little too much. Basically it may stand out more, because it is the only black paint on the car. I think I am leaning toward a Charcoal black, but havent set it in stone yet...

Can someone maybe photoship it using my sig picture?

dano move the tape up higher about 3 more inches and paint the bottom half and the entire bumper covers, gun metal gray, a darker shade of gun metal, i think that would pop with the champagne. but paint the entire bumper, then run the tape line even from the front bumper to the rear.
on a side note are you gonna be a man and drive down here this weekend, come on dude you know you want to, i'll let you sleep on my couch if you want to stay and go back sunday! i'll give you lots of beer too!!

Jamie, I wish I could... I'll talk to Robyn tonight, I wish so bad I was already back in Florida. The situation at my dealership is just pathetic, and I hate going there every single day. :( I might try something crazy like drive down there for the meet. Our wedding anniversary is on monday, I don't know if I want to test her patients that much... :( I have a awesome and beautiful wife, and a beautiful house, but I just feel out of place here now. I'm not trying to sound emo, because my life really is great, I just want to go back to my family and friends, i'm done here... And Jamie, I appreciate the offer, I will keep it in mind.

i'm not trying to pressure you dont get her upset over it. but you do need to come back here! i know we could be good friends but we never got the chance you hauled ass too soon! plus you'll really like the new shop its so much more of a SHOP! my other place sucked, i dont know how i managed everything i did in that tiny ass place! i have 2000 sq feet more of shop now, and my loft is 39 feet by 13 feet, the old one was 24 x 8 lol! not to mention the office thats 27 x 13 heat and ac with my own bathroom, if you start hanging around my new shop your wife wont be so awesome to you anymore, she'll hate you lol you will never go home haha.

Lol, Your not pressuring me. I was just fortunate enough to be at the last meet and know how much ass it kicked. I really wanted to be a part of the second one. Robyn is busy doing her own things this weekend, but I dont know if I want to drive down there for a 1 day thing... trying to find excuses for other stuff I can do while I'm down there... I'm dying to hear something about the job I am tying to get down there, it sounds like it is a go, just not happening as fast as I'd like.

i got plenty for you to do, you can stare at my new toy for my 97 that i am hiding in my closet, you'll have a boner all weekend, i think i will too lol!!!

Two guys staring into a dark closet with boners....are you hiding rippedcamel in the closet and whoring him out for labor payments....on second thought , I don't wanna know

Dan, this is what you would be looking at if you added some LSC door moldings and just paint the chrome strip on the front and rear. We have the same rims so you can see the real thing and below this pic is with the chrome strip there before I started swapping moldings out.

Maybe that gives you an idea. I really miss the black car but I like the white one too since I got the inside mostly black again.

The black is sick. I'm gonna keep the chrome on this car, but maybe one day I will have another black car, and i'll get rid of the chrome strip. Damn that car was sharp.
