ok guys i have a 96 lsc with factory hid,,,on of my hid bulbs has went out and im interested in a kit to convert it over to a standard hid bulb,,,are there any recommendations here as far what bulb to choose and will one of these kits fix my problem?? please any help is appreciated

Ok thanks for the response guys but i have to ask>>do i need the delrin adapters as well as a HID aftermarket kit?

not so chicken, duct tape, wood glue, 5 minute epoxy, even liquid nails in a 1 gallon can will all work, it all depends on who wants to do what the right way!
I use bubble gum.

Looking at this thread makes it appear like almost everyone has Saleens.

You'll need some way to hold the aftermarket HID bulbs in the HID housing, my adapters make it easy.

guys do i need the full kit with ballasts or will the factory ballast work(not even sure if it has ballasts) i just dont want to buy something that doesnt work for my car,

You need a complete kit with new ballasts, the factory ballasts are not compatible with the newer aftermarket HID bulbs.

DLF may have adapters, I do not know if the housings are the same opening as the 97 , 98's.If they are the His Adapters are top notch. He is very detail oriented. If you want them he's the one Id recommend.

Good luck.

I used a slightly larger rubber o-ring on my bulbs and it holds them in perfectly. No adaptors, no glue.
