I think the 03/04 Cobras have the best sound in the world! Love that whine and deep gutteral growl they have. The ability to INSTANTLY leap foreward..... just a sexy sexy car. *drools*
 
Went for a ride in a 727 rwhp 04 Cobra last month. Thing was fuggin insaine when he nailed it! Just instantanious go! Then after 90 when the tires started to hook it was really insaine!
 
ive been in a couple of 500+ terminators, and they were a tad on the scary side, with one of them, we were doing 75 on the HWY when we got passed by an old IROC, and my boy down shifted and hammered down and in an instant we were sideways and passing him in a cloud of smoke, i couldn't imagine trying to keep one with even more power going any where near in a straight line

I had 11" wide Michelins on mine and only 472rwhp (over 500tq though) and it was a freakin handfull! If doing 60 and downshifting to 2nd at WOT it was all I could do to keep it straight. :lol:

I want my Mark to do that. :( If doing 30 and it kicks to 1st then the car power slides but if kicking to second from 60 it only barks them and then hooks.

sounds like it time for a smaller pulley on that blower then :D
 
I've been doing the final rounds of tuning on my car and it is a rush with that blower. I'm quickly getting to the point where I'm losing traction on each hit at speed.
 
i think the 3 valve mod 4.6's with blowers are actually the best sound i have ever heard, them 3 valves just sound so damn sickly!!

I had an 03 cobra with cat back,x pipe,pulley,cai,throttle body,heat exchanger and tune and damn that sob was fast! I should have kept that car....along with the supra,typhoon,vette,.....blah blah blah:D
 
My Cobra's about 500 rwhp after mods to the suspension, intake, supercharger, exhaust, and program. With the stock tires if you punched it in first gear it would hit the rev limiter like it wasnt even in gear. I put M/T drag radials on the back now it hooks up good. What a differance. with the independent I've got 1.79 60 ft. time.
 
I love Cobra's...but seriously throw a Twin Screw Supercharger on a 98-2002 LS1 Camaro and say goodnight lol.
 
i dont really care where it comes from, the sound of boost being produced and forced in an engine at an alarming rate always gets me excited.

personally i like turbos for the track, and roots or twin screws for the street
