I agree fully. Met him in Carlisle, hell, I helped him dry his car off after a big rain. It is killer looking.

I absolutely agree that this needs to be made for the 1st gen's. The 2nd gen's already get the venting on the lower bumper cover. I'd like a good location for an intercooler.

he recently bought some front end bumper related parts to insure a perfect fitment without a need for any modification. a a lower radiator splash panel. so as of last month, its still on. just moving slow.

And as of now, it's a 2nd-gen application only? Hmmm, I'm curious if a gen2 nose could be transplanted onto a gen1...

yes.
and yes. i believe so. gen 1 fronts have been put onto gen 2s before. so the other way should be possible.

You can swap a gen2 nose to a gen1 car no problem, but you have to use everything from the windshield wipers forward, swapping a Gen1 nose to a Gen2 car is also possible, but there are some clearance issues with a gen1 hood over a Gen2 intake

I remember E-mailing him about the bumper last year or sometime back then, before I was a member here. I don't remember now how I came across his website, but if anyone uses Facebook, he does have a page on there if you want to look him up. I just finished setting it up so when he posts something on there, I get a notification text sent to my phone so it'll make it easier for me to follow what's going on since I'm not online as much and I don't get on LvC as much as I'd like to. Just an idea for anyone else wanting instant updates from Temple Performance. Obviously, I don't have a Mark VIII I'm working on right now, and when I do get one, it probably won't be a Gen-II, but I'm just interested in following this to see how it turns out and if there's any Gen-I aftermarket parts like this in the works later on. Regardless of whether it's for a Gen-I or Gen-II, it's good to see aftermarket support for these cars, especially all these years after production ended on the last '98 Marks.
