It has utah plates too..I thought there were some areas in utah that are nearly desert..not sure though never been there. That car was mine. I listed it in SLC and Vegas. Southern Utah is all high desert. It sold in couple days for $5000 even. It was a 98 BOB LSC with moonroof, not one single door ding. Interior was like new. It was a great cruiser and went to a good home with another Mark VIII owner.

that's good to know it went to a good home..but I gotta ask, why did you wait till now to post about it?? would have been nice to see some pics of it. Was that your only mark viii?

I think I remember seeing a FS thread about this car once before, if it's the car im thinking of he had his other set of wheels sitting on top of the car in the garage or something and people were criticizing him for it..along with him claiming the motor was something it wasn't or something along those lines..or maybe it was a different car, not positive.

I've always loved this car. It's one hell of a clean Gen 1. I remember the thread vividly. He was asking way too much for it. I see reality has struck him & the price as lowered some.

well, it looks like I missed it-
yesterday i saw a 96 LSC, blk on tan with 71,600 miles $2,800
....it looked REALLY CLEAN...I responded 4 hours after it was posted...today it's GONE

update, the lady just called me back, still available, do I NEED another '96 Mark? that would be THREE; this is a kilLer car though, low mile, black '96 LSC...

Duh. Now you'd have an LSC. Worst case, turn it back around.

Not all LSCs came with sunroofs..it was an option on any mark. I'd be most interested in the bumpers/trim and HIDs..the rest I could live without considering most people swap gears and exhaust anyway.
 
pull the factory hid's, sell em for 5-6 and get some $ back from the purchase price
