Shes a 98 LSC, pearl white with the grey interior. Has 85K on it and I am the third owner. The guy I bought it from bought the car from his father a year ago. Its only been serviced and repaired in Ford dealers and all that was a big plus to me. Its had both rear and one front bag replaced so I feel fairly safe and will change the other bag just because.
She runs great and shifts just fine. Everything seems to work and the seat motors are new so I can finnaly use the easy entry feature.
It also has the old Borla cat back on it and its very quiet but has a wonderful sound. I am already thinking of removing the center cat/res and putting in a double x pipe.
PLUS IT HAS A MOON ROOF! :wrench
Too bad its aftermarket. Its a SolAire and nice but had I known it wasnt factory before I drove 250 miles then I would have passed on the car. BUT the car was nice enough to get anyway even with its issues.

So issues:
The seal around the rear window looks like crap
The cup holders are broken (will be swapped from old car)
The spring for the console lid is broken (will swap with old cars)
Dome light has a bad ground and only works if I push up on the headliner. (easy fix)
Missing window/lock switch covers on the passenger side.... I have no idea how. (gonna take them off old car)
Dent on the passenger side before the wheel arch. I hope my shop can fix it. :( I didnt see it untill after the deal was agreed upon)
Stereo sits in too far but I can fix that
Burn hole in carpet :(
It takes 2 seconds before it starts (plugs maybe, what are the best to get again?)
Had 4 error codes:
Bank 1 lean
Bank 2 lean
EGR not opening or closing (forgot which)
IMRC stuck closed

I reset the codes and then put 240 miles on it. I could feel the IMRC open at 3000ish RPM so some Seafoam should help that. I imagine the lean codes are bad front O2s
The EGR though tripped the light again on the way back so I think I will swap valves with the 97 and see if that cures it.

I am ordering a few mods for it tomorrow like the hard drive upgrade and bluetooth module for the deck and then an ASHAM8 because I am digging this air ride. My friends that took me down to Austin were impressed when the car went down after it was parked.
Funny point. First two times I started the car and was getting worried cause I couldnt figure out that weird noise that happened for 20 seconds or so and then stopped. Never had an air ride before so forgot about the compressor.

So tomorrow I will put on the Saleens and wash her up so it wont be till Friday before I can post some better pics.
I am gonna start a progress thread because in the next couple weeks the car will get Cobra brakes, Addco sway bars, SCP front braces, ASHAM8 and the rest of its sound system.

So here are some teasers. :D

Now I like that one but the color you had was, idk, one of a kind almost but if I were to buy one, it would be white or black. After those rims get put on, it's gonna be just as good as the other.

Autolite 764's are the plugs you want and that rear window from your 97 can be put into the 98. I had the good 93 rear window removed and installed on the 94 for $119 and he done a good job on it.

Honestly with the problems this one has, i would swap front end parts with your old one, and sell it to nolimit, bad luck for him

Damm, looks just like the one that is posted in the car for sale section... From dallas too!

Nice looking car, those saleens are going to look sweet on it!

Long crank and both banks lean point to a vacuum leak.

check the two hoses on the drivers side of the intake and see if you dont have a collapsed/leaking vacuum line.

Thanks all for the compliments and direction for repairs. I am gonna have this thread be my progress thread for the car and will ask an admin to change the name latter. Shes a diamond in the ruff but it will clean up fairly well and should look nice by the time I am done.

Go Fast: The 10 spokes are going on the 97 so I can sell it.

These are the last pics untill it gets tinted, wheels installed and a good clean job. The dent is really bugging me in the day light though and I wish it wasnt so dark when I went to see the car. Its nice just not as nice as I had hoped. Some things are nicer and some things not as nice versus my old one.

So here are the before pics, stay tuned for the after pics. :D

Man thats one nice looking Mark and as for the dent it shouldnt cost you more than 200 bucks to get it fixed. I to want to see pics of that sunroof inside and outside pics.

Dirty, engine bay is dirty! I hate dirty engine bays!! Ahhhhhhh! but like I said before nice ride man, should do you well.

great snag on that ultra rare Borla Cat Back!

cant wait to see the car, you really should bring it to houston..soon

hell.. I'll meet ya halfway

That's funny! is is sensor lowered? You may have to pick the rear up a little bit with those 275's out back.

Yeah Tommy, the exhaust sounds just great. Its a tad too quiet at WOT but cruising is perfect. I will prolly still get some x pipes for it to open it a bit more. I kinda like the stock tips with the Borlas but may try and find some wide oval tips for it, not sure yet.

The car is not sensor lowered and is a little higher then my 97 is. I will be ordering an ASHAM for it but that causes another issue as the ASHAMs beauty ring is for a first gen and I dont want to mount it in the ash tray anyway.

Another thing that suprised me and I have to assume its the crappy Symetry tires was on the trip home my buddy started pulling away when we were doing 70 so I nailed it and the ass kicked out before the TC corrected the wheel spin. Sure was not expecting it to break the tires loose.

I got a pretty decent set of chrome 20's I'll throw in as a trade on the 10's, LMAO.

Dent doesn't look to bad, should come right out with a knowledgeable body guy.

It will look very good with the Speedstars on it.
