I'm sooooo lucky recently!!! First, i picked up a 97 blue LSC for $400 and now I just picked up a black/black 97 LSC w/ 155k miles on it for only $450!!!! It has nice chrome 10 spokes with brand new tires, brand new arnott coil conversion, new HID/halogen conversion, and really nice interior for the most part. Pics tomorrow because i'm off. all 3 in one pic.:D

Then i got really lucky on the way home. My cousin and i were rollin back home in 2 black 97 marks. (ebony and ivory interiors:cool: ) All of a sudden it was street racer heaven. Thats rare in jersey. lol. a whole bunch of cars were running through traffic together. A corvette, 2 STI's, a 350z TT, a grand national, a G35, and a tiburon. It was a blast!!!!! The G35 beat me on a straight line from 55 to 100 like i wasn't trying at all.:( It was fun though:cool:

Don't whine about the street racing. I have a wife for that.:shifty:

Tomorrow. I promise. It'll be both black 97's and the parts car in the background. lol.

why are there never deals like that around here? everyone thinks their mark viii is gold here.

Very nice price for a running MK8. How well did the grand national due in the race?

im looking to purchase another gen 2 in NC but there all above 1500

My cousin got beside him and kinda gave him the "nice car nod", not the "let's race" nod. He took it wrong and, according to my cousin, while rolling at 55, he punched it and smoked rubber.

i paid 500 for gen 1 and then paid 1500 for my gen 2
my gen 1 reset in peace

Damn you guys find some unreal deals. It bums me out cause I paid over $3000 for mine and it needs the fender/bumper repainted. It also makes it harder to justify all the money in performance parts that I spend.
About to do a full exhaust for the cost of one of your Marks and then I am gonna do a Trac Loc and gears for the same price as your other Mark. :(

If it makes you feel any better, i paid $3000 for my DD 97 Base. It has 68k miles on it though. ;)

i bought my very first mark viii in minnesota before i moved to charlotte i didnt know :q:q:q:q about that car and then i stumped my toe and end up on LVC and ive been loving them ever since. thats for the LVC mafia LOL that takes it back right...... but seriously im looking to travel back up north and find another one for that price and drive it back down here

nice, my 97 had 55 on it when i bought it, has 67 iirc on it now. Makes me sad when the odometer changes.:(

The few good things I can say about my car is it does not have the slightest hint of rust anywhere. I can take a bolt off under the car that hasnt seen a wrench since it was built without using WD-40. :D
That and the A/C is the coldest I have ever felt.

nice score, i have a 96 i just bought for $500 that i drove back to my shop about 20 miles, has mint black interior, even the seats because they had seat covers on them. decent chrome 20 spokes after i finish cleaning them, and only 107k with working air ride still!! the deals are out there, juts have to search high and low!

if you find any more deals like that let me know, im about an hour south of you. or if youd like to rid of one :D

Yeah, I paid almost $14k for my 98, but that was in 2004. I only paid $900 for my 97 though, so I think it cancels out! Lol. I originally bought the 97 as a parts car, but it's just a little too nice to part it out (for me....Jamie would have no problem with it, I'm sure. haha). I've put 20k miles on it so far without any big problems.
